Home Caregivers Identify Evidence of Voter Fraud in Bid to Oust Union

EDINA, Minn.—An in-home caregiver named Edison is supposed to live in a unit on the seventh floor of the Cedars of Edina apartment complex, according to a list supplied by the state government. “We scrolled through the electronic directory where the names are listed alphabetically. There is no one listed here named Edison,” @workerfreedom’s Matt Patterson says. But when The Daily Signal tags along on a visit to the Gallagher Drive location by activists seeking to decertify the union that represents such caregivers, no one by Edison’s full name can be found in the directory of residents. “As you can see, we scrolled through the electronic directory where the names are listed alphabetically,” canvasser Matt Patterson tells this reporter. “There is no one listed here named Edison.” Which is odd, Patterson adds, because Edison’s … Read entire article »

Trump’s Agriculture Chief Tosses Out Michelle Obama’s School Lunch Rules

Former first lady Michelle Obama’s dictates on school lunches were thrown out Monday by one of President Donald Trump’s Cabinet members. Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue signed a proclamation to begin to undo federal standards that the Obama administration placed on lunches in public schools and return those decisions to local schools. “This announcement is the result of years of feedback from students, schools, and food service experts about the challenges they are facing in meeting the final regulations for school meals,” Perdue said in prepared remarks. “If kids aren’t eating the food, and it’s ending up in the trash, they aren’t getting any nutrition—thus undermining the intent of the program.” @USDA is taking steps towards more local control of school meal menus, since we all want kids to have nutritious meals that … Read entire article »

What’s at Stake in Trump Meeting With Palestinian Leader

President Donald Trump will meet with the leader of the Palestinian Authority this week, ahead of his first trip to Israel expected later this month. “The president’s ultimate goal is to establish peace in the region,” @PressSec says. Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas will visit the White House Wednesday, with a U.S. president that seems decidedly pro-Israel, while also genuinely interested in a Middle East peace deal. “The president’s ultimate goal is to establish peace in the region and so I think that’s obviously the goal and the discussion he’s going to have with the head of the Palestinian Authority,” White House press secretary Sean Spicer told The Daily Signal during the White House press briefing on Monday. “That’s going to be a relationship he’s going to continue to work on and build with … Read entire article »

Cultural Appropriation: A Modest Proposal By Michael Barone

“Cultural appropriation” has become the latest evil denounced by soi-disant social justice warriors, on campus and off. Examples: “I was taught that white people shouldn’t listen to rap music because it’s cultural appropriation and could be offensive to my classmates,” writes Pomona College student Steven Glick in The Washington Post. … Read entire article »

One-in-Three Think Feds Own Too Much Land

President Donald Trump last month ordered an unprecedented review of national monuments owned by the United States government. Because SCIENCE dammit! Inconvenient truth edited out of old Bill Nye episode

**Written by Doug Powers Here’s even more proof that “science” is whatever our progressive betters decide it is on any given day: When uploaded to Netflix, an episode of the educational children’s show “Bill Nye the Science Guy” cut out a segment saying that chromosomes determine one’s gender. In the original episode, titled “Probability,” a young woman told viewers, “I’m a girl. Could have just as easily been a boy, though, because the probability of becoming a girl is always 1 in 2.” “See, inside each of our cells are these things called chromosomes, and they control whether we become a boy or a girl, ” the young woman continued. “See, there are only two possibilities: XX, a girl, or XY, a boy.” But in the version of the episode uploaded to Netflix, the segment … Read entire article »
