Follow the money, and you will see Hollywood elites bought by foreign interests to influence American politics. Ex-Fugees rapper Pras Michel has been found guilty of colluding with the Chinese regime to influence American politicians. Michel faced 11 counts over conspiracy to help Malaysian businessman Jho Taek Low and the Chinese regime gain access to U.S. officials.
Michel distributed up to $21.6 million of Low’s money to straw donors who then donated the money to Barack Obama’s campaign. The straw donors were U.S. citizens, shielding the fact that the funds came illegally from a foreign donor. Michel is alleged to have been paid $70 million by Low to affect the donations scheme and other services he provided. With the upcoming 2024 election, Americans should be wary of how money influences our politicians and how Hollywood entertainers are susceptible to election interference schemes.
