On the Earth for instance when it blocks that sunlight so without those aerosols I mean there can be increased warming but it’s important to note what is climate change and we see that climate is the average weather conditions over a long period of time and climate change is significant and long-lasting changes
In the earth’s climate or weather patterns we know that there’s natural variability climates do fluctuate They do change but we need not be fear or fearful or have a panic when we see sensationalist media claims about climate change because we know that they naturally change and we know that we can
Stand assured on the authority of God’s word that he is both author and sustainer of his creation as we see laid out in his word like from the very first verse Genesis 1 1 in the beginning God created the heavens and the Earth Psalm 24 1 says the Earth is the Lord’s and
The fullness thereof the world and those who dwell therein or even Genesis 8 22 where God promises After the flood that sea time Harvest cold and heat on day and night winter summer they will not cease as long as the Earth remains so we can see that we can rest assured in that
It and then I also want to state that fossil fuels coal oil and natural gas those are derived from the buried remains of plants and animals and the global flood provides a consistent explanation for why we see the large amounts of coal oil and natural gas
Deposits but fossil fuels can give us a reminder of God’s goodness to us that although he judged the Earth that he also provided valuable resources for us to use that we can have energy when they’re burned and fossil fuels provide a way for economies to expand to and to
Get Nations that are in poverty out of poverty a lot of third world countries actually use wood and dung to heat their homes but fossil fuels provide that cheap and reliable energy source that allows us for economic expansion we can heat our homes with those cool oil and
Natural gas we could also provides life-saving medical equipment and we’re commanded to Steward God’s creation wisely as it says in Genesis 1 26 and 128 where to have dominion over God’s creation so we can be wise and resourceful about how we use those resources is in a way that is honoring
And glorifying to God but also give him the glory for being author as a senior of creation so that’s like you know what you’re talking about can you say that again climate change stuff yeah we have a we have a resident expert here that’s great and it’s good
Points too because it is a Biblical worldview that gives us a foundation for caring about the world in in the first place which isn’t something that you actually get out of an evolutionary worldview necessarily you’d have to say it’s just for the benefit of your own species or your own Survival or whatever
So that’s something cool to keep in mind but something else I remember in my own Earth and ocean scientists science classes and secular University how they’re talking about how the the climate models that we have there’s so much different data that you put into them you have to decide like which
Factors we want to consider what data you can get are limited by the measurements the types of measurements you can take the instruments you have to measure those things there’s all sorts of assumptions that go in so they’re a really useful tool but like this article actually said we don’t understand the
Earth’s atmosphere as well as we need to so it is it is useful tools but just to realize it’s not gospel truth in that sense you have to be thinking critically asking what where did this information come from how is it reported is it being reported accurately all kinds of all

This one who wants to who wants to take the lead on that well you’re the environmental scientist well this this article I mean it’s looking at a study where they’re talking about Western Antarctic Ice Sheets and how it is shrinking but when we look at observational real world real world data
We see that there’s parts of Antarctic sea ice that might be declining like the western part but overall it seems to be increasing so we need not again panic when we see sensationalist claims that talk about how there’s they’re declining at a rapid rate that is alarming and I
Actually printed off an article from NOAA this is the National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration website and they’re talking about Antarctic sea ice in here and they say the the sea ice records so they started recording some of this in 1979 with satellite data and they say unlike the Arctic where sea ice
Is declining like up in the Arctic some there’s some areas there where the PSIs finding in all areas in All Seasons Antarctic Trends are less Apparent from 1979 to 2017 Antarctic wide sea ice extent showed a slightly positive trend overall so we see that we don’t have to
Give into fear when we’re looking at articles that have headlines that talk about declining sea ice and we can go back to the observational real world real world data and see what’s happening there that’s the cold hard time yeah solid yeah and what we do see actually
Lines up with God’s word when you look at the observational science that’s there so they’re saying that well this is kind of surprising because you have the ice is actually growing um and that they using their own dating methods they would say that that started happening around 4 000 years ago which
Is ironically kind of when we would expect from a Biblical worldview that the flood would have occurred and the flood would have been responsible for a lot of the changes in climate that would have helped produce that Ice Age the major ice age event so actually what we
See makes a lot of sense from the Bible that about 4 000 years ago he had an accumulation of ice starting right so their assumptions are based on like long age millions of years that there was a bunch of ice before and then it would have like declined and then built built
Up again which they weren’t necessarily expecting but when you start from the Bible the real world makes a lot of sense yeah and we see that natural variability too in climates because it talks about how they’re spinning and then extending so it we see those natural fluctuations that science
Confirms God’s word right to get an Ice Age just so you you know it’s it’s a rare event if we just cooled off the Earth we’d just get a cold Globe we wouldn’t get an ice age to get an Ice Age what you need are warm oceans and
Cool Summers that’s a rare condition so the flood with Continental shifting and volcanism that heats up the oceans which gives a lot more evaporation which gives a lot more snowfall in the winter time and then with all the volcanism one of the things that we’ve seen is it shoots
Up all these little aerosols and all sorts of little particulates that get in the upper atmosphere and they just linger there and what happens is it reflects some of the sunlight back so your summers are actually cooler we’ve observed that with certain volcanoes that have gone off violently and if you
Think about After the flood there’s a lot of this stuff occurring so those are perfect conditions for an ice age and you know with an ice age you know it’s going to come up to a peak about a third of the Earth was covered with ice at one
Stage and you know of course we’re gonna have Ebbs and flows it’s going to go back and forth a little bit and I love looking at ancient maps I actually have an old map here can you guys all read that no probably not I I actually found
It online as well you still may not be able to read it so much this was done back in 1730 this is an ancient map and this is of the British Isles and when you look carefully at it look out there in the sea you happen to notice what
What’s called the Dodger Banks and that was actually listed there because the sea level was a little bit lower and ships could get caught in that because they’d hit the ground it’s so shallow in some of those areas and if you were to study this very closely there are a few
Places where there’s some islands where there aren’t Islands there today so it’s kind of interesting it goes to show the fluctuation even in the ocean as late as 1730 and of course we expected this significantly After the flood during the Ice Age and so forth it’s going to mess
With the hydrologic cycle yeah take a lot of water out of the ocean it messes with things you can get famines you know we think of famines like in the days of Joseph or in the days of Abraham there’s probably a relationship to that with some of the Ice Age information
You guys have anything else to add on that one that’s good let’s keep going all right this next one comes from Fox News uh 200 lgbtq groups demand Target restock Pride merchandise release statement now no such thing as neutrality sounds like they’re making themselves a Target yes sure are good on you
I do have one thing right there is no neutrality that’s that’s right yeah so basically Target had kind of gone back on some of the things that they were putting in their stores because of backlash from communities that were like we don’t actually want to support some of these messages
Um and then what happened was they got some threats and a lot of controversial things happening so they’re like well for employee’s sake let’s let’s kind of back down on some of what we’ve been doing while still supporting what they’re supporting but just not quite as
Openly in the stores quite that way and then you had people writing in saying that um well they need to not be pandering to these extremists who want them to take away their material so there’s a lot of terms that you need to Define what is extremism and all these
Types of questions that come to the Forefront yeah absolutely and people who are caught up in the lgbtq community I mean they’re fearfully wonderfully made in the image of God and so we should care for them and we should love them but we cannot affirm what God calls sin
And we need to point them back to the truth to God’s word and we see that God tells us that he is love he is truth as first John 4 16 says and as John 14 6 tells us and so God is love God is the
Arbiter of Truth and so we can’t have Truth at the our love at the expense of Truth so we can’t affirm sin when God lays out what it is for uh to be a man and to be a woman to we have to go back to his word his objective standard when
We’re looking at those things and the gospel the fact that while we were yet sinners Christ died for for us gives us um the ability and the Assurance to stand on the authority and to love people to stand in the truth and to share that truth with others as well and
You know Targa is not the only one I mean we’re seeing this you know across the board with a lot of different places but it’s interesting they use certain terms like inclusion or diversity and yet at the same time where’s all the Christian merchandise right we included it’s a good point yes
Um selective inclusions exclusive inclusion exactly yeah it sounds oxymoronic but that’s really what it is it is yeah and it’s there’s just all kinds of terms that need to be defined so for instance fear um the the demand that they keep their merchandise in the store was saying well
We can let extremists know unequivocally that just with every other field anti-lgtbq campaign of the past fear will not win if fear doesn’t win though I’m not sure why they’re trying to use intimidation tactics against Target so there’s that but also um you know defining fear is that actually an
Appropriate word to use against people who disagree with you and then there’s the point that it shouldn’t apply to Christians anyway because God has not given us a spirit of fear but of power and of Love end of a sound mind so bringing terms back to the Bible back to
Truth back to where truth comes from even thinking about things like extremism so they’re saying that people who disagree with Target with their original moves were extremists but we usually think of extremism if you look at say the Merriam-Webster Dictionary Extreme Measures radicalism so we’re thinking of like looting rioting
Vandalism killing people that kind of thing so actually after Target pulled back that’s when he had bomb threats and things like that so if you’re going to talk about streamism you need to be consistent those definitions actually change too in dictionaries too so it depends what year you look at those
Definitions will change as well isn’t that sad the definitions keep changing in the dictionary well if you make man’s word or human ideas The Authority for truth then that’s what that’s what you get it can be anything it’s open-ended yep so uh I know uh Target’s been kind of
Under the line of fire there so as some other companies that are floating around out there I know target has been dealing with the bathroom policy you know a lot of people have been worried about that you know they’ll let anyone use their their bathrooms and uh according to the
Family policy Alliance they said there’s been 200 incidences from 2003 to 2017 I haven’t found data since then of incidents that have occurred in Target bathrooms yeah typically ladies being attacked and that sort of thing so you know I know a lot of people are you know they’re just stepping back going you
Know do I feel safe should I be here um and you know I mean their Target’s kind of caught in the middle of all this now from both sides it seems like right right and it does go to show that um there the options are really if you’re
Going to go along with what they’re doing it’s only you have to not only affirm but like actively celebrate and show that you’re doing everything you can right so that’s the only option that basically they’re being given but we know from the Bible that our only option
Is standing on the word of God and there is no such thing as neutrality they did get that right yeah yeah Jesus said you’re either for me or against me you either gather with him or you scatter so all right let’s move on to this next one college gender studies Professor
Allegedly fails student for using a banned term quote biological women oh we were just at this school out here it was right across the river isn’t it University of Cincinnati yeah we had the opportunity to go to the University of Cincinnati and for our zero compromise

Gave her zero because she used the word biological women and uh she said that’s a forbidden term you can’t use that one it’s uh and that’s gender studies and a gender study yeah which is interesting so oh yeah yeah for sure and one thing that stood up to me about this is so
What the student did is um she went through the processes that the school has in order for students to exercise the rights if they feel like there’s been something that hasn’t been right they can take that up to some higher ups and go through that and then
What happened is she was able to get another professor to grade her work she was able to use the original proposal so it basically turned out in her favor but that reminded me of how there is actually a lot of biblical precedent for knowing what your civil rights are and
Then exercising them to the glory of God so for instance if you look at acts acts 16 Paul and Silas were unlawfully prisoned in Philippi and afterwards the magistrates were like okay you guys can go but Paul was like um wait a minute you’ve beaten us publicly and condemned
Men who are Roman citizens and have thrown us into prison and now you want to like let us out secretly I’m paraphrasing a bit no come on out and take us yourselves basically is what he said in the Patricia version so that’s one example and in another
Example he was going to be flogged and he was like hold up can you whip a Roman citizen without a trial and everything like that and they’re like oh good Point wait a minute so there’s a lot of biblical precedent and if you look at stories from persecuted Believers in
Communist countries you’ll find they often say like know what your rights are and then use them for God’s glory to be able to continue sharing the message of the Gospel so this is an example of one place recently where that was happening yeah yeah we need to exercise discernment and critical thinking skills
When we’re in school too and you wrote a book prepare to thrive that helps students do that in a school setting so that’s a great resource if anybody’s looking for that but if there’s anybody in school now or in these secular universities you know just encourage you
To stand on the authority of God’s word and be strong and courageous in the Lord in the midst of persecution and a look to Christ through those things all right well you guys are really really wondering about these classes right for those of you who joined us

Cave where these bones have been found they went in there again and they found um that all these bones were down at the bottom of this like four story shoot basically like a little thin um channel that was opened up there and then there’s these bones at the bottom
And if you go down there there’s some more Chambers and they found these interesting carvings there’s one that looked like they said like a hashtag symbol there’s like a little triangle and um a circle and there’s some evidence of fires being made in some of the other
Chambers so they’re like wow guys like these um uh ape like kind of human ancestors is what they’re calling them we’re building fires and they’re carving stuff and they were burying their dead so therefore they must have been humans hmm they made a big assumption in there didn’t they yeah not necessarily just
Because of the bones that were found there doesn’t mean that they were necessarily human right yeah I mean when you actually look at naletti um you know said right there you know the brain is about third of the size so Apes have a very small brain inside
They’re even gorillas you know which is bigger than this one this is an eight by the way uh this is Pongo but it’s a very small brain in there compared to say a human here they are very different from each other in fact when you look at this
What they call homo naledi it should probably be classed as an ape instead of they shouldn’t be using the term homo which typically means man um you know because if you look at it it’s got the sloped face unlike a human a human here you know largely has a flat
Face if you don’t count the nose you know some people have bigger noses than other people but but you’ll see Apes don’t have a protruding nose bone um you can’t you know when you look from the side you can’t see into the eye sockets you know like you can with a man
But there’s no protruding nose bone so if I were to put the glasses on here this slide off where you know with a human you can actually wear so there’s there’s significant anatomical features that you can look at and say something is an ape or something is a human right
And when you look at homonality it’s an eight yeah that’s right it probably wasn’t outriding and building fires and stuff like that people were probably doing that they’re just disassociating that yep yeah that’s what we would expect and even if you go look at one of these other articles it said that other
People had suggested well there were humans even by secular data Methods at the same time as these creatures so wouldn’t it have just made sense to say that humans were doing this other stuff and then like dealing with the bones whether burying them or maybe from hunting or from who knows what having
These bones involved and they were doing the carvings so in this article is saying well the research team found no signs of modern humans but what about the carvings right and the fact about the fire and the whisker yeah those carvings actually they weren’t able to
Tell quite what the dates were on them and they also said that they looked a lot like carvings that you find from humans in the area so you have to assume that they weren’t made by humans to say that these were human-like ancestors and also what stood out to me is you can
Have like a dead ape in a cave with some sketches above it and say like that is a human whereas you can have an actual physical living human being in the womb and people say it doesn’t have human rights right so it’s a major inconsistency there yeah major now this
Is an image that came from the with the article I want you to look at it because I want to teach you something there’s three ways people try to make a missing link three ways first you take an ape and you try to make it look like a human
That’s the instance up here this is the artist rendering of noleti it’s an ape but notice how they put like human looking ears and human looking eyes in there they’re putting human features on you have to be careful of that the second way to make a missing each take a
Human try to make it look like an ape of course I don’t have an example of that right here but Neanderthal is a good example that humans neanderthals are just human all their features are within a human but some images you look you’re like looks halfway between a human and
An ape and the last way is you take bones of an ape bones of a human put them together and try to build a missing link that’s actually not a real creature Homo habilis is a good example of that so I want you to be careful whenever you
See images like this think of the three ways people try to make a missing link if you look at the homo naledi skull reconstruction up there you can kind of see that it’s the second one it’s a very ape-like in its features it’s it’s very much like this but a little slight
Variations of course we see variations within those Apes but just because there’s writing next to a dead creature does that mean that the creature made it it must I can’t think of any other explanation I mean we see I’m kidding just in case in case anyone was wondering right
Uh you know we see all sorts of writing and gravestones and things like that for all we know this was a pet it may not have been a pet it might have been something they’d eaten who knows um but uh you you know we see this all

Uh odd nose monkeys and some langers which are basically monkeys as well some of them live in India some of them live in Asia and they did some studies on them in various climates and they they tried to observe their social behavior and so then they try to draw that out of
Some sort of evolutionary change but I want you to understand big picture big picture here these monkeys changed into monkeys right those aren’t evolutionary changes and yet the article promotes it as Evolution so sometimes you just got to step back and go okay what are they really doing
Here yep God’s word tells us that he created the animals according to their kinds we see that over and over again in Genesis 2. in this article they are trying to to make the correlation or the connection that we evolved from um ape ancestors to several times throughout it
They say these species were chosen by the researchers as the exhibit as they exhibit four distinct types of social organization and provide a good model for examining the multiple mechanisms that have driven their social Evolution from a common ancestral state to the diverse systems present today and they
Also say this findings offer new insight into the mechanisms that underpin behavioral evolution in primates and because and could be used to address social evolutionary changes across a wide range of species including humans so that they’re trying to make the connection that we evolve from apes but
When we go back to God’s word his foundation in Genesis we see that he tells us in Genesis 1 26 then God said let us make man in our image after our likeness so right there we know that we are distinct from the animals and then it also tells us to have
Dominion over those animals too and the preceding text after that so it’s important to remember that distinction that we are made in the image of God different and distinct from animals including the Apes yeah good point and every time I was told of evidence of
Evolution we can see in real time in my classes it was always something like this so if something change you see within a created kind due to variation within the kind due to usually a loss of genetic information or some sort of like different regulation going on within
Information that already existed so in this case we’re seeing new patterns of social behavior new patterns of hormonal regulation but it’s not actually new genetic information being added that can turn the monkeys into any other kind of creature so so it’s just a bunch of Monkey Business you could say that yeah
All right let’s move on to this next one from Live Science repeated signals from the center of the Milky Way could be aliens saying hello new study claims uh you could say this is kind of out of this world yeah there you go oh I love this headline so much so they haven’t
Actually found anything I want you to understand that they haven’t found signals what they’re suggesting is this might be a new strategy let’s let’s start looking at the center of the Milky Way galaxy and see if we see any like burst signals or different signals there you know which we get signals like
Quasars and so forth but uh you know none of us from intelligent life by any means so they’ve not really found anything no right so the headlight makes it sound like they found like these pulses that they know are aliens but actually they’ve just started looking for pulses that they think
Um they actually know that there are natural causes for these pulses too from Stars so if you did find them it’s not necessarily an alien anyway but they’re just like let’s start looking for these signals and then maybe it’ll be an alien that’s basically all the article is

Flesh became a man and when he died on the cross the infinite Son of God took the infinite punishment from the infinite father and that’s what makes salvation possible through the death burial and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ so uh we’re almost
