And they didn’t go through any of the normal sort of regulatory strategy steps that you have to go through in order to promulgate a permanent regulation here they say they might do that later and it’ll be much much worse by the way like the actual strictures of
The regulation under this 490 page osha rule which are bad now they say it could get a lot worse they’re saying that they might try to promulgate permanent masking for people who are vaccinated they say they might try to get rid of the ability to test out completely so
You will have to vax or you’ll be fired right they’re saying that might become permanent okay then you get to the issue of does the original enabling act for osha does the original statute actually apply here meaning was osha given the power to tell a hundred million workers
In the united states that either they have to get vaxxed or they have to get fired or to tell employers across the united states that they must vaccinate or test all of their employees or be fined to this extent simply by regulation again not by a piece of legislation because the original piece
Of legislation doesn’t include anything remotely like that so the answer of course is no there’s nothing in here that suggests that osha has the capacity to do anything like this this is not the equivalent of getting rid of asbestos at a construction site this is saying that
