The New York Post reported today that neurologist “Dr. Kevin Cannard, a Parkinson’s disease expert at Walter Reed Medical Center, met with Dr. Kevin O’Connor, and two others at the White House residence clinic on Jan. 17,” according to White House visitor logs.

Dr. O’Connor is Biden’s personal physician. Also at the meeting was Dr. John Atwood, a cardiologist at Walter Reed, the Post reported. The fourth person has not been identified.

Today’s breaking news about this meeting adds to the fallout from Biden’s disastrous June 27 debate performance that has caused even Biden supporters to say it is time for him to drop out of the presidential race because of his declining mental agility. Of course, prior to the debate, the president’s mental deterioration was evident to anyone willing to believe his own eyes. After the debate, however, the conspiracy of silence surrounding the president’s condition on the part of the powers that be appears to have come to an end.

But is the president willing to quit in the face of this fallout? When he was asked by ABC’s George Stephanopoulos yesterday if he would “stand down” if he were convinced that he could not defeat Trump, he set the bar pretty high: “It depends on — on if the Lord Almighty comes down and tells me that, I might do that.” (Go to 19:17 in the YouTube video below.)
