Just months before the 2024 election, conservative musicians and celebrities across the U.S. are reporting a coordinated deplatforming and censorship of their work, which some believe to be no less than election interference.
“I gave up on even caring about my following on Instagram and Google some time ago because they’ve censored me and cut my followings and growth since 2020, removing several of my music videos from YouTube just as they were gaining strong numbers,” says conservative Latino rapper/songwriter, DVS 7.0. “But now the music platforms have removed my collaborations with Forgiato Blow. This happened right after what should have been one of the biggest days in Forgiato’s career, the RNC.”
“The music industry has me in a choke hold right now over the Trump music… they know they can keep me quiet for a few months, the election will be over, and it won’t matter.” – Forgiato Blow
“A lot of people on my DM…[are] saying the music that was on their playlist is gone—all my music is gone,” rapper Forgiato Blow revealed on a video posted to X. “If you didn’t buy the music physically on iTunes, it’s gone. My distribution company took everything down after they played my song at the RNC; a lot of people could say it’s due to a song I did that was sampled…the biggest problem was saying ‘Trump.’ The music industry has me in a choke hold right now over the Trump music. I’m going to try to do what I can to fight it, but they just know they can keep me quiet for a few months, the election will be over, and it won’t matter.”
Forgiato asked his fans to support his new album by going to www.magakingalbum.com.
“It hurts to see my music removed from all platforms.” – Jimmy Levy
FreedomTalk reached out to Billboard #1 Christian singer and former American Idol contestant, Jimmy Levy via Instagram and he shared this statement:
“I’ve worked so hard as an independent artist and put my heart and soul into my music and have had the ability to help people during one of the darkest times in humanity. I heard my music sung by millions around the world at every protest against government tyranny. I’ve had many people write to me telling me that they’ve had a come-to-Jesus moment through my music. It hurts to see my music removed from all platforms. I know that we will be persecuted for HIS name’s sake so I will keep my peace through it all.”
Levy and Forgiato recently reported that their Billboard chart-topping song, “Boycott Target” had been removed from online platforms. “Not only did they remove this song,” he posted, “but they removed all of Forgiato’s catalog, and 5 of my other songs, all while music that glorifies sin floods the airways.”
“Music is a universal language and can be very powerful. That is why they are trying to silence us.” – Hadas Levy
Eighteen-year-old, classically trained musician, Chole Castillo (aka “Classically Chloe”) also reported apparent politically motivated cancelation of her music. “My song with Hadas Levy, Country to Save, was one of the songs removed, as well as Hadas’s entire album, American Dream.”
But the deplatforming hasn’t crushed her determination, “Like Hadas said in my conversation with her this morning, ‘We are not going to stop making music!’”
To the contrary, Castillo and Levy are preparing to launch a brand-new album.
“The help of patriots to get this new upcoming album out there before it’s taken down is very important!” Castillo told FreedomTalk. “As I’ve said before, it’s an absolute disgrace that anytime a catalog of MAGA music gains momentum and is successful it is censored. This shows much weakness on behalf of the Left.”
“There is no way we will be backing away from this fight!” – Chloe Castillo
Popular conservative activist, author and speaker Lindsey Graham, aka “Patriot Barbie,” revealed over the weekend that social media giant Meta banned her accounts, effectively grinding her online businesses to a halt.
“Meta sent me an email, saying that my shops were violating community standards, and I would no longer be able to use them,” she told FreedomTalk.
After receiving notice of “community violations,” Graham’s personal Facebook account was banned. “I filed an appeal and updated a picture as per their request and they immediately denied my appeal, within 60 seconds,” she reported. “Because they banned my personal Facebook page, which hosts all of my businesses, they then went and within a five-hour period deleted Pretty Little Patriot Instagram, My Freedom Cart, Instagram, the Patriot Barbie shop on Instagram.”
“Big Tech answers to no one.” – Rep. Paul Gosar (AZ)
“One Facebook ban took down all my businesses, and we are trying to get them back. I personally am devastated since I’m unable to manage any of my business accounts on Meta now since they’ve been deleted.”
FreedomTalk sent an email to Graham’s DC Representative, Paul Gosar and received an empathetic response tinged with frustration: “Unfortunately, we know way too many people who have been deplatformed, my staff included. We are very sorry about your situation but unfortunately, there is nothing we can do to help. Big Tech answers to no one. Let’s pray for an administration change!”
Censorship, de-platforming and election interference continue unabated, but those affected remain defiant.
“The support of patriots means so much to us,” said Chloe Castillo. “There is no way we will be backing away from this fight!”
Update
Graham was able to get her accounts restored late evening, August 5. “Someone flagged my account, and it caused my entire system to crash,” she said. “It’s frightening to know that someone who doesn’t like my politics could have that much power to disrupt the life of my family, and that these social media platforms would continue to deplatform specific conservative accounts based on false accusations”
