do you have any plans to visit the Border I at some point you know we are going to The Border we’ve been to the border so this whole this whole this whole thing about the Border we’ve been to the Border we’ve been to the Border you haven’t been to the Border I and I haven’t been to Europe and I I don’t I don’t understand the point that you’re making hey guys it’s your girl Melanie and I did not know yesterday the house was actually um it was before the house to condemn Harris as the bordar because of the crisis we have at the border as you saw in that video with Lester Holt from three years ago she was appointed as the borders are and never has gone to the border and really has done nothing as far as this border crisis and the Border crisis we know is affecting a lot of this country and particularly the black and brown communities within the inner cities where they are having you know all of these illegal immigrants bust in into the cities and they’re going into the lowincome areas they’re being placed in those areas they’re being placed in Black communities and we’re seeing a rampant I mean ravaging of of the communities when it comes to crime and their um resources being taken away and given to these illegal immigrants and we see this you know in New York in Chicago and Denver and many other cities we know what’s happening in Texas what’s been happening along the border but it is now it has started to affect the communities around the country the cities around the country who voted in uh the lawmakers who who allowed this the Mayors and the different lawmakers who the politicians who wanted these open borders and Sanctuary cities and now it has disproportionately affected the black and brown communities and they’re having their schools overrun they’re having um you know the illegal immigrants they’re having their services like a New York trash has been taken away Community um centers just just a complete disaster and it’s one of the reasons why the Republicans and Trump were M able to make inroads into the inner city into the black and brown communities we saw that with Trump’s um Bronx rally and so we’re seeing that effect it’s really hitting them but now you know that that has that has taken place there’s really been no accountability as far as KLA Harris being the borders are and her really not doing anything about out it just letting it go and people say well there was a resolution brought uh Biden brought it and and Trump didn’t want to told people don’t agree to it because this and that and the other that first of all it was not a a serious solution it was still allowing 5,000 IM um illegal immigrants in a day and he only did it because his poll numbers were slipping and falling apart and regardless now Biden is essentially out when we talk about the next incoming president and that responsibility and that ownership Falls to Comm Harris but it’s just amazing how now you know the talk of that is just well that’s that that that that doesn’t matter that doesn’t matter because there’s a a black woman now who’s running so who cares how it has affected the black communities how it’s affected the entire United States I bring up black I bring up race I bring up gender because this is what is hammered nonstop about this groundbreaking moment and it’s just it’s almost like now that the race has been reset everything that came before never mattered and it doesn’t nobody cares and we shouldn’t care about policy just focus on identity politics and and vote vote vote because everyone else is bad but she take a listen to what happened and I’m I’m actually shocked because I didn’t hear much about this yeah it has it’s now officially passed we’re hearing yeah it has officially passed the final number was 220 to 196 and again that is with those six Democrats almost all of them Frontline Democrats meaning Democrats in competitive districts voting for it I can tell you Diane it it was expected that this resolution would probably pass along party lines because this was obviously a republican effort to condemn Harris and start to build this case of disagreement with her over policy uh but I don’t think anyone was really expecting six house Democrats and that’s a fair number just given how slim the numbers are here in the House of Representatives to vote for a resolution that is condemning the presumptive nominee of their own party uh one more thing to note here which is we have seen some House Republicans in recent days start to take aim at Harris over her race we heard them use the phrase Dei hire and things of that nature and one of the things we’ve learned our Rachel Scott and I are reporting that sources tell us that in a closed door house Republican meeting earlier this week speaker Mike Johnson told them focus on the policy don’t focus on personal attacks and this resolution is in that vein trying to focus on B policy so Selena how do you expect again I say this because I have to throw this out here to say don’t Focus don’t say Dei don’t focus on race or gender but the left has put that up as though she is black and she is a woman it is the thing that they are using as a hammer to as a reason to vote for her to Jerry Mander vote but if the right says something about it and says that is the very definition of Dei to vote for somebody based on that that it’s an issue to bring that up but again what’s good for the goose is not good for the gander you guys know I am independent but what I see is the media um and this guy had to throw that in there it it he brought it back home with a focus on policy but I just see in the mainstream media this glazing and just deep throating of anything that’s left and now that they’re excited that they’ve knife Biden in the back and thrown him away now it’s just like H the second coming of Christ the second coming of Biden really or what they really want to say is the second coming of Obama and it’s just we’re allowed to say this we’re allowed to Jerry Mander votes this way we’re allowed to use race and and gender and identity politics but if you say that is wrong that’s identity politics it should be policy well they or if you if the if the opposition use it then it’s a problem so this is one reason I like to bring an opposing view because independent voters really there’s really no place like you just are going to get you know both sides saying things but it is such hypocrisy when the left does this I I I just it’s just every little comment every little thing is used as that but every little thing that’s said on the left is not used Biden said I that black man when he was talking about the secretary defense and and there’s so there’s a long history of Biden saying racist things there’s things KLA Harris outright said she’s doing nothing for black people last time she ran but that’s never used so you see there is such hypocrisy it’s nauseating and the reason why I always like to give the Counterpoint is because the mainstream media will not talk about it they will not say anything about it and demonize you if you do haris to now defend against this we have heard the campaign already talk about how she wasn’t actually the borders are but do you expect to hear more on what she actually did in her role in terms of immigration and the border and what do you expect to hear from her at that event today yeah look I think her campaign is dy driving home the message about the contrast here between her versus former president Donald Trump and how she believes that she is the best person to hold Donald Trump to account this is all about the framing of a prosecutor versus a convicted felon so while she does have lunal abilities in those areas we’ve been talking about including immigration and the economy they believe that because of who she is she can drive out the voters that this campaign needs the most her campaign put out a memo just yesterday saying that a disproportionate number of these undecided voters are black Latino and young voters these are all groups that they believe Harris can drive out in drobes and I can just tell you here Diane I’ve been speaking to a lot of the teachers and public Educators who are here today and they say they feel a kind of energy and enthusiasm they haven’t felt in months including using the word hopeful didn’t answer the question at all oh well that’s something that could be used but let me drive home the point once again of I’m just the opposite of trump and how like you she’s actually the legacy of Biden she’s still part of the administration that has failed policies fail borders and I’m not hearing anything about that it’s just it’s just I’m not Trump like that is all I keep getting from the left and I it is just nauseating because Trump has pulled better than Biden Biden was failing as a president before he it became mainstream his his cognitive decline and they weren’t doing anything about it the left’s policies were failing people are struggling out here but they don’t seem to give an answer other than I’m not Trump and there’s just this excitement that she can put sentences together and then of course you add an identity politics well it’s just exciting exciting but what are they going to do for us and I want to hear these things I want to hear her policies but if it’s the same of what Biden has been doing why would anyone vote for that it’s not making any sense and you’re talking about this prosecutor versus the Felon that’s going to get black and brown and young people excited because this prosecutor we just had this huge thing with lawfare and a lot of people feel like lawfare was used against the opposition in this country black you know she has a horrible record as a prosecutor in California in fact it is what took her out of the race the first time she ran so now and then the the now it’s it’s amazing that she she locked up all these people black people in particular but now that is why black people are going to vote for her this is why Brown and young people like who is doing the research no they’re hoping that race and gender and not Trump and younger than Biden is going to get across the finish line but they don’t have to answer any questions according to what is going on with their policies and they are it’s just a continuation of the same policies the same war in Gaza all of these things are big concerns it’s like we should just throw that all away because orange man bad and I’m sorry but that’s just not good enough this time around okay orange man may be bad Trump is not likable Trump has done a lot of things that people do not like but that does not affect people’s pockets that does not affect what is happening in the economy his convictions don’t do it like okay that that’s his thing how is you Prosecuting him and you’re the he’s the convicted felon which a lot of black people have been locked up through the crime bill that Biden imposed that we are black people been locked up under the crime Bill and now we’re supposed to be excited that a prosecutor who has also done some uh been part of the crime Bill and part of the things that that locked up black people in California we that’s supposed to motivate us please help me understand this it makes absolutely no sense and I’m tired of the BS but of course the media is just huh um she’s not Trump there’s energy teachers are excited first uh major initiatives that the president asked the vice president to lead was to oversee the Diplomatic work uh with Central American countries as it relates to flows of migration uh the house rules committee yesterday approved a resolution that will go to a vote of the Full House strongly condemning the Biden Administration and its borders are the vice president for failure to secure the Border do you have a response to that and how how would the president characterize what he views as um the vice president’s accomplishments in terms of overseeing that portfolio I mean look as we speak uh you have Congressional Republicans they continue doing their continue with their month-long blockade of critical resources that we need for the Border uh whether it’s Ice uh border patrol uh and uh this is what they’ve been doing this is what they’ve been doing let’s not forget the bipartisan a really tough important bipartisan piece of legislation uh or a deal that came out of the Senate uh that we were able to get done and they got in their own way they got in their own way because they listened to the former president because they thought it would help Joe Biden so they continue to block critical resources that’s what they have done for the past three and a half years the president is looking for ways to they have not been blocking for three and a half years critical resources you’ve done nothing until a couple months ago when you tried to put this resolution when you were bleeding in the polls when you were losing okay so now we’re going to do something after three and a half years it’s time to do something about the Border crisis when you’ve been wanting open borders look at your party they talk about you open borders all the time and Al AOC is one of the main drivers of this it it’s almost criminal to not let illegal immigrants into this country it’s it’s like oh how could you do this and of course she doesn’t take any accountability it’s just blame Republicans we have nothing to do with it it’s the Republicans that have done this and then and is it’s not our fault even though you look at the policies it’s their policies it’s I’m fund to fund uh security funding to to get to the border right and he’s done that in a record way uh and so we’re going to continue to fight to make sure that the border patrol agents get what they need uh and get more Personnel thousands of new Personnel at the border that’s what we’re going to do the president announced new decisive executive orders to secure the border on law for Crossings have dropped by more than 50% and that’s the president acting without Congress by 50% they are now lower at this point than they were in 2019 and lower than when the former president left office and the president’s doing that on his own on his own they get because they’re bleeding numbers and I want to see these numbers that if this is such a thing because they will be touting these everywhere this sounds like a bunch of madeup BS in the same lies that this is the same woman and say nothing’s wrong with Biden he’s not dropping out he has no cognitive decline this is just the right the Republicans everyone else is just saying this the public doesn’t know what they’re talking about and then when the media started to talk about it oh the media just doesn’t like Biden and turned on him won’t they talk about Trump like this is all we get is just lies and gaslighting and a bunch of BSS and they just like this is why we’re supposed to be happy this is why so many people are just done with politics done with the left and the right just in general it’s because because it just feels like we never get anything accomplished we never get anything done and this woman right here is I mean this I mean the worst gaslighting I have seen in a long time now I know all press secretaries for all presidents do this type of gaslighting whether you’re left or right but we’re talking about right now this woman giving us answers but of course there’s enthusiasm now that we’ve put a knife in Joe Biden’s back and we’ve just installed our candidate that is black and a woman focus on that focus on that orange man bad orange man bad like but anyway guys I thought I would bring that to you and the fact that there’s Democrats that cross the aisle and voted with Republicans well that says a lot in how big this issue actually is especially during this polarizing time in this presidential election race but
