Immigration to the United States used to be based upon a system of laws that brought together people from all over the world into a melting pot of nationalities and people. These people could live together under the agreement of a Constitution which all should follow allowing for a common legal framework for everyone. That was corrupted and has given way to a two-tiered system of justice that favors those that are politically connected and monetarily powerful. But for over 200 years the idea prevailed to create a thriving nation until corruption broke down all forms of fairness to the people being governed.
