Freedom In America – Thinking About The 4th of July 2016

Freedom In America – Thinking About The 4th of July 2016

In a recent conversation with my son, now only 20 years old. I was confronted with several very true issues in the way different generations think about the changes that have taken place in America. The question is, has the move to Socialism in America over the past 8 years been a good thing. Barack Obama told America he was going to Socialize America and effectively; if you look at it now, he has. I think … Read entire article »

Democracy and freedom won today in the UK, now America!

Democracy and freedom won today in the UK, now America!

Democracy is on the rise! Freedom loving people are waking up to the corruption and power hungry elites of Socialism. The consolidation of power for the one world globalization groups that have been stealing average citizens lives for for their centralized control were dealt a blow. I simply hope that it continues to spread. The people of the world can let freedom and democracy truly grow from the stranglehold that these Socialist elites have taken from us all … Read entire article »

Hillary Clinton Still Free After Her Treasonous Crimes, There Is No Double Standard, Right?

Hillary Clinton Still Free After Her Treasonous Crimes, There Is No Double Standard, Right?

Double standard for the political elite? Most people would be in jail or in very serious trouble if they had committed as many crimes against the United Stated as Hillary Clinton. But not her, she is the Democratic candidate for President of the United States. Now that shows you either, that the Democratic party is so corrupt that they would have such a criminal as their primary candidate or that the entire United States government is so … Read entire article »

10 common myths about firearms from Barack Obama

10 common myths about firearms from Barack Obama

This week, Barack Obama announced executive actions related to guns. Here are 10 common myths about firearms.  Myth No. 1: Firearm purchases at gun shows do not require a background check due to the “gun show loophole.” Facts: When the president and others refer to the “gun show loophole,” they imply that there are no background checks being done at gun shows. As a result, much of the public has been misinformed and are led to believe that … Read entire article »

A new taxpayer bailout to cover up ObamaCare’s failure?

A new taxpayer bailout to cover up ObamaCare’s failure?

How dare the Obama administration bail out insurance companies with our money in order to hide ObamaCare’s failures. Thursday, just hours after giant insurer UnitedHealthcare said it’s losing money selling  ObamaCare plans and will likely exit the health exchanges next year, the Obama administration quietly promised to bail out insurers for their losses — using your money. Nearly all insurers are bleeding red ink trying to sell the unworkable plans. Without a bailout, more insurers will abandon … Read entire article »

Political Retribution, Chicago Style

Americans are getting endoctrinated by the Presidents administration and all of the massive federal  government he has helped build and transform America into. Our Federal government now resembles more like an old style Chicago gangster community. The corruption the likes we have never seen before. Is it not so obvious, the corruption in government and collusion with the news media

It simply is something that is so obvious. Complete corruption within the United States government and collusion with the national media networks. This is a big problem! Unleashed propaganda to the worst extent. Its simply the fact these national networks do not cover news anymore. They mainly broadcast the propaganda and leaks reported as news one week to the next. They do not provide the type of reporting and news worthiness as in the past. Sad to see the complete corruption take … Read entire article »

More Americans Than Ever Are Losing Their Religion

More Americans Than Ever Are Losing Their Religion

Never before in U.S. history have so many Americans chosen to be unaffiliated with any particular religious group. As you will see below, the percentage of “nones” in this country has absolutely skyrocketed over the past decade. But not all faiths are losing members in the United States. In fact, Islam, Buddhism, Wicca and various New Age organizations have all experienced excellent growth in recent years. Sadly, almost all of the growth for the “nones” … Read entire article »

World War 3 Coming Soon? Tanks Roll Across The Border As Turkish Invasion Of Syria Begins

The invasion of Syria that so many people have been warning about is now happening.  On Wednesday, Turkish tanks rolled across the Syrian border, and they were accompanied by radical Islamic Syrian rebels that want to ultimately overthrow the Assad regime.  This invasion was conducted under the code name “Euphrates Shield”, and it was supported by airstrikes from A-10s and F-16s that are part of the U.S.-led coalition that has been conducting airstrikes against ISIS … Read entire article »

Under Obama’s New Enforcement Program, Fewer Illegal Immigrants Being Captured for Deportation

Under a revamped Obama administration program intended to encourage greater cooperation from local law enforcement agencies in helping deport illegal immigrants who the government considers “a danger” to public safety, fewer people are being taken into custody for eventual removal from the country. In November 2014, the administration introduced the Priority Enforcement Program (PEP), a less demanding version of a previous system that had been accused of violating immigrants’ civil rights, and did not differentiate between low-level and serious offenders. The old program, called Secure Communities, influenced a number of local jurisdictions—known as “sanctuary cities”—to not work with the federal government. >>>Child Rape Case Inspires Lawmaker to Fight Philadelphia’s Sanctuary City Policy While more local agencies are indeed working with federal immigration authorities since the new program began, a new study shows that those … Read entire article »

What a School Letting Students Opt Out of Pledge of Allegiance Says About Our Patriotism

Can America thrive as a post-patriotic society? A Florida elementary school recently caused a stir on social media when a man posted an image of his niece’s waiver from reciting the Pledge of Allegiance. The waiver form asked parents if they would like to opt their child out from “standing and placing his/her right hand over his/her heart” and reciting the pledge. The infuriated uncle wrote on Facebook, “My niece brought this home from school today…What is happening to our country?!?” Florida students have been able to opt out of the pledge since 2000. The just over 30-word Pledge of Allegiance, written by Francis Bellamy in 1892, received an addendum of “under God” in the 1950s under President Dwight Eisenhower, but has remained a fairly constant and little-changed staple at schools and public gatherings … Read entire article »

Doctors Sue Obama Administration for Forcing Them to Perform Gender Transition Procedures

Five states and a group of religiously-affiliated hospitals and physicians are suing the Obama administration over a federal mandate that forces doctors to perform gender transition procedures on adults and children against their medical judgment. The lawsuit, filed Tuesday in a Texas federal court, attempts to roll back a rule imposed by the Department of Health and Human Services in May that expanded the interpretation of “sex” under the Affordable Care Act to include “gender identity.” In doing so, the Obama administration added transgender people to the list of protected classes under the Affordable Care Act, which states that individuals can’t be denied certain federally-funded health benefits because of their “race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability.” The move was part of a broader push by President Barack Obama to further transgender … Read entire article »

From a Course on Miley Cyrus to ‘Identity-Based Housing,’ Examples of Lunacy on College Campuses

As the fall semester begins, parents, students, taxpayers, and donors should be made aware of official college practices that should disgust us all. Hampshire College will offer some of its students what the school euphemistically calls “identity-based housing.” That’s segregated housing for students who—because of their race, culture, gender, or sexual orientation—have “historically experienced oppression.” I’d bet the rent money that Hampshire College will not offer Jewish, Irish, Polish, Chinese, or Catholic students segregated housing. Because there is no group of people who have not faced oppression, Hampshire College is guilty of religious and ethnic discrimination in its housing segregation policy. University of Connecticut administrators think more black men will graduate if they spend more time together. According to Campus Reform, they are building a new residence hall to facilitate just that. Erik Hines, … Read entire article »

This Year, the Deficit Is Rising Faster Than Predicted

Congress left town this August for an extended recess without passing a budget or any required spending bills, and spending has largely been ignored as a major issue in the presidential election. But just because the politicians and media are distracted doesn’t mean the nation’s most critical problems are going away. Case in point: The Congressional Budget Office just released its updated budget projections, and the unrelenting deluge of spending, debt, and deficits continues to grow larger by the year. Deficits are back on the rise in 2016, no matter how much the president and others may claim that they’re no longer a problem. And they’re growing faster than expected: The CBO had to increase its deficit projection by $50 billion for this year, up from $540 billion in March to $590 … Read entire article »

Why Politicians and Taxes Can’t Save Taxis From Extinction

Ride-sharing companies like Uber and Lyft again made headlines this week. In Pittsburgh, Uber announced plans to begin the world’s first self-driving vehicle pilot program. Meanwhile, in the incorrigible liberal bastion of Massachusetts, taxi-friendly lawmakers passed a first-of-its-kind rideshare tax that will transfer profits from successful ride-sharing companies to the foundering taxis they are putting out of business. It’s a tale of two “firsts” that perfectly captures the dynamic of the ride-sharing industry: innovative companies pushing the envelope, and entrenched taxi interests calling for the arm of the state to stifle this unwelcome competition. Earlier this month, Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker, a Republican, signed into law a new measure imposing a 20-cent tax on every ride offered by a transportation network company, or what are colloquially known as ride-sharing companies. Half that sum … Read entire article »

Facing High Labor Costs From Minimum Wage Hikes, Chicago Restaurant Closes

A Chicago restaurant abruptly closed this week, with ownership blaming the “rapidly changing labor market” and a 27 percent increase in base minimum wage costs over the last two years as culprits for the collapse. Cantina 1910, a farm-to-table Mexican restaurant located in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood, opened in September 2015. Former Cantina 1910 employees said they were shocked to find out late Sunday evening of the closing, DNAinfo reported. “We are unable to further raise prices in this competitive restaurant market in order to sustain the labor costs necessary to operate Cantina 1910,” Mark Robertson and Mike Sullivan, Cantina 1910’s owners, said in an emailed statement to The Daily Signal. In December 2014, the Chicago City Council passed an ordinance to raise the city’s minimum wage from $8.25 an hour to $13 an hour … Read entire article »

5 States, Nearly 700 Counties Don’t See ‘Choice and Competition’ Promised by Obamacare

5 States, Nearly 700 Counties Don’t See ‘Choice and Competition’ Promised by Obamacare

Five states will be down to just one health insurer on the Obamacare marketplace next year, and consumers in 664 counties are projected to face that same situation under a law sold as providing “choice and competition.” The five states that will have no choice are Alabama, Alaska, Oklahoma, South Carolina, and Wyoming. Two more states, North Carolina and Kansas, are close to having only one Obamacare insurer, health policy experts note. Alabama will be down to a … Read entire article »

Judges Put Election Reforms in Wisconsin on Hold, Except for Voter ID

On Monday, a three-judge panel of the 7th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals refused without comment to stay a Wisconsin district court opinion in One Wisconsin Institute v. Thomsen that threw out changes the state legislature had made in early voting rules as well as other changes such as the residency requirement for new voters. However, the state’s voter ID law will remain in place for the November election because the district court judge, James D. Peterson, a President Barack Obama appointee, stayed his earlier ruling against the ID law on Aug. 11. Peterson didn’t have much choice on that issue: The same three-judge panel that refused to stay his overall ruling had issued a stay on the voter ID issue on Aug. 10 in a second district court case in Wisconsin, … Read entire article »

North Carolina School District’s Anti-Bullying Policy Promotes Transgender Agenda

North Carolina School District’s Anti-Bullying Policy Promotes Transgender Agenda

North Carolina has become ground zero for pushing the transgender envelope. In March, North Carolina’s General Assembly and Gov. Pat McCrory, a Republican, passed the Bathroom Privacy Act (HB2) to establish uniform policies for intimate facilities in public schools and public spaces and to overrule a radical Charlotte ordinance requiring local businesses to allow men in women’s bathrooms, showers, and lockers. The Charlotte-Mecklenburg school system recently announced a new “anti-bullying policy” that flagrantly violates the law as … Read entire article »

The Next Steps on the Road to Brexit

Britain’s vote to leave the European Union on June 23 was a milestone in the history of the United Kingdom, and of the defense of British freedom and sovereignty. But it was also just the start of securing Britain’s independence. It is one thing to vote to stand on your own two feet, it is another thing to do it. Since the vote, Britain has put in place a new government, led by Prime Minister Theresa May, with many prominent leaders of the “leave” campaign—including former London Mayor Boris Johnson and former Defense Secretary Liam Fox—in key positions, with Johnson taking the foreign secretary job. Fox’s position, as the head of the new ministry for international trade, is particularly significant. Ever since it joined the EU in 1973, Britain hasn’t been able … Read entire article »

What’s Wrong With the Government’s Mandating of Energy Efficiency

The Obama administration’s Department of Energy has churned through a list of energy efficiency regulations before the next administration. Just since June, the DOE has set or initiated standards for dehumidifiers, ceiling fans, battery chargers, and wine coolers. At issue isn’t health or safety, or even unfair business practices. Through the DOE, the federal government is busying itself regulating how much energy the appliances Americans buy are allowed to use. Our recent backgrounder, “The Energy Efficiency Free Market Act: A Step Toward Real Energy Efficiency,” goes into more detail. Take a look around your kitchen. Many of the appliances are also regulated by the federal government, from the oven and refrigerator, down to the standby light on the microwave. Step outside to other rooms and even outdoors. Government by Special Interests Is the Problem, Not the Solution

“Bring back the special interests!” A version of this plea is heard more and more these days from those worried about the current state of our politics. It is the implicit theme of a recent Atlantic cover story, provocatively titled “How American Politics Went Insane.” The author, Brookings Institution scholar Jonathan Rauch, asserts that the only way to fix the broken political system is by bringing back the special interests that once called the shots in our nation’s capital. Until then, Rauch argues, we will be stuck with a dysfunctional government that cannot act. Yet this is a false choice. Government by and for the special interests is not the opposite of gridlock. Our political system was designed to ensure that the most important things get done only when they are supported more … Read entire article »

Texas Judge’s Ruling Undermines Obama Administration’s Transgender Bathroom Policy

Restrooms, locker rooms, and showers in public schools nationwide are allowed to remain separated by biological sex for the foreseeable future, a federal judge in Texas has ruled. U.S. District Judge Reed O’Connor blocked President Barack Obama’s administration’s bathroom mandate on Sunday evening, hours before students in the state woke up for their first day of school. The judge did not address the underlying policy in question, but argued the Obama administration overstepped its authority when mandating that public schools must open their restrooms, locker rooms, and showers to transgender students based on their gender identity instead of their biological sex. “This case presents the difficult issue of balancing the protection of students’ rights and that of personal privacy when using school bathrooms, locker rooms, showers, and other intimate facilities, while ensuring that … Read entire article »

Watch: Scarborough slams 'pathetic' defense of Clinton Foundation

Kelly Cohen MSNBC host Joe Scarborough on Thursday mocked the Clinton’s “pathetic” defense of the Clinton Foundation, specifically the notion that it must stay open if Hillary Clinton becomes president in order to fight the AIDS epidemic. Scarborough’s comments were a response to Brian Fallon, Hillary Clinton’s press secretary, who on Wednesday defended the Clinton Foundation by saying it’s the key to finding a cure for AIDS. “So no, the Clinton Foundation will not be completely shuttering its work even if Clinton wins the presidency and for good reason, they want to continue this work,” Fallon said. examinerpolitics.com … Read entire article »
