[Music] thank you so much Governor Abbott for speaking with us today at the New York Post really appreciate it my pleasure you know one of the big issues that uh has faced New York is something that stemmed from your decision to bus migrants there and to other cities you kind of planted the seeds for migration into New York Denver Chicago by essentially organizing and Expediting the flow uh through your busing effort we have people like Jamie Diamond and others saying it’s responsible for making the Border issue a national issue do you deserve credit for that well listen I I took action to help people in the state of Texas the B Administration was was dropping off hundreds or more uh of migrants they had processed into small little towns on the border like delbo Go pass and I said we’re not going to take this anymore this is not a Texas issue uh this is a a United States issue caused by the B Administration uh and if they refused to come to the border and see the disaster they caused I was going to take the border to them and and we were busing migrants initially only to the sanctuary city of Washington DC so that people in Washington DC the leaders there we see firsthand the chaos they created and then out of nowhere mayor Adams of New York started criticizing me for busting them to New York which I was not doing but he kept criticizing me and I thought you know what New York is a sanctuary City uh and if I’m going to get the criticism I’m going to get the credit and so we started busting them to New York and then as you know it it expanded to Sanctuary cities across the United States a sanctuary City they volunteered to provide food and housing uh to migrants and then when they had to actually live up to it they couldn’t do it but you are right because of that process people across the country began to understand this is not a Texas issue this is a United States issue and it made them focus on it politically either at the city council level or all the way to the presidential level yeah it sounds like from what you’re saying that Adams provoked it exactly is that what happened here is is he kind of poked the bear and you said okay well if you’re accusing me of this I’ll just do it yeah so what what what was going on in New York it was actually the Biden Administration that was initially sending migrants to New York and Adams wanted somebody to criticize and he probably knew it was the Biden Administration but he wanted to use me as a punching bag uh and I thought you know what uh if if he thinks that we’re sending them there we’ll live up to what what his expectations are and we’ll start sending them there uh but it wasn’t just there be because of the massive flow across the border we we needed a valve release uh and that meant uh that we had to move those migrants from the border that were overrun in small little communities to make sure that we would be able to have locations to send them to and the only locations we chose are locations that were self-identified as sanctuary cities because they volunteered for this sure one of the other biggest issues that stemmed from the border crisis has been the rise of traine aragua the Venezuelan prison gang obviously you’ve taken some recent steps to counter their foothold in the state of Texas knowing that they’re coming through a pass so largely and you know you’ve identified certain areas of the state why did you decide to take matters into your own hands on that issue and how is Texas showing that it’s acting on it so what’s going on with gangs in general but also dangerous gangs like Trend araga uh is so frustrating because this is all caused by Biden Harris opening the border to uh people from Venezuela including gangs and there’s there’s no data that even the bid Administration has uh to consider whether or not the people coming from Venezuela are gang members or not uh and as a result we have seen the TDA gang establish footholds right from from New York all the way to Texas and and this is a very dangerous Gap gang so there there were three things I wanted to do uh first to shed a light on the danger that we’re facing a lot of Americans and Texans didn’t know exactly what was going on and so by doing what I’ve done there’s now a greater understanding and realization about the fact that this dangerous gang is in the United States uh then the second thing is I wanted to take action to to make sure that this gang understands that they are not accepted in the state of Texas and so I organized all of these anti- gang centers uh to make this their top priority uh to to make sure that they are sharing information at the federal state and local levels uh and working operationally uh to get rid of these gangs uh and then uh I I wanted to set a bounty uh on these trendee aragua gang members to make sure that anybody who knows any information whatsoever will share it with law enforcement in the state of Texas so that we have greater information to directly go after these dangerous gang members okay so let’s move on to the election um you know former president Donald Trump is saying that he’s going to carry out the biggest deportation effort we’ve seen in this country’s history is that something that you would be pitching in with have you thought about that at all would Texas step in to be part of that effort so on on actions like that uh that’s action by law uh that’s relegated to the federal government that said we will work collaboratively uh with the Trump Administration uh to make sure uh that we as a state and we as a country are doing everything we can on to regain control of the border to regain control of the illegal immigration process and to put an end to the illegal immigration process when if you been your conversations of any with vice president kamla Harris in her role as the quote unquote borders are what is it like kind of behind closed doors with her have you had conversations so I’ve sent several imitations to the vice president to come to the state of Texas and see firsthand the chaos that she’s caused here she never has ever even responded and so there have actually been no conversations despite invitations uh for her to engage she has ignored the primary responsibility given to her by President Biden and that is to do something about the illegal immigration process and she’s refused to step up and do anything about it including refusing to come to the state of Texas and see the chaos that she created we have time for two more time okay great as far as you know the economic success that you’ve built up in the state of Texas are you worried that a comma Harris presidency could hurt that so a comma Harris presidency could destroy the economy in the state of Texas for several reasons Texas more than any other state is a prolific producer of oil and gas we all know what she has said in the past where she’s against fracking she’s against drilling she’s hostile to the oil and gas industry uh she strongly supported the green new deal and would uh you know bust the filibuster rule uh in in the senate in order to to pass the green New Deal and so it it could cause Carnage to the oil and gas industry which has you know hundreds of thousands of jobs in the state of Texas but also produces so much for both the Texas economy and the United States economy and if she were to do that it would really Stoke inflation again and drive up the price not just of what you’re paying at the gas pump but also what you’re paying for groceries and so but but that point aside what we’ve seen uh from Biden and Obama for example we’ve had to fight tooth and nail against their EPA against their federal government agencies and uh the strangle hold that they put on the Texas economy so as robust as the Texas economy is right now the fact that it was just announced that Texas ranks number one for the most new jobs added over the past month and over the past year all of that would be endangered by a Harris Administration question so kind of piggybacking off of that what is your worst fear about a Harris presidency when it comes to the border and specifically operation lanar Texas’s effort uh to secure it so Texas has stepped up in such a prolific way coming out of Texas taxpayer Pockets by far more than 10 billion dollars of our own money to pay for border security to deal uh with the refusal of the Biden Harris Administration to secure the Border we’ve had cross the border under Biden Harris more than 11 million illegal immigrants we cannot go through another four years of that there there’s no way America can remain the country that we are if if we have four more years of comma Harris this is a line in the San moment when Americans must realize that our country and our future are at stake because of the illegal immigration policies that are allowed by kamla Harris we have to shut down the border and that starts with electing Donald Trump as president

The Constitutional Perspective: Why Free Speech is Non-Negotiable

The First Amendment of the United States Constitution is crystal clear: “Congress shall make no law… abridging the freedom of speech.” The Founding Fathers understood the importance of free speech in preserving a free society. Without it, the ability to challenge government, expose corruption, and advocate for truth would be crushed.

Yet today, under the guise of protecting people from “misinformation” and “hate speech,” powerful institutions are curbing our ability to express ideas that do not conform to their narratives.

Do we not see this as a slippery slope toward authoritarianism?

Shouldn’t we, as citizens, be the ones who decide what we can or cannot hear, not a centralized body or corporation?

Social Media and Cable News: Platforms or Gatekeepers?

Social media was once hailed as the bastion of free speech. It allowed ordinary individuals to share their thoughts, advocate for causes, and hold the powerful accountable. However, over the years, major platforms like Twitter (now X), Facebook, and YouTube have become gatekeepers rather than facilitators of free expression.

Algorithms favor certain ideologies, while alternative viewpoints—especially those with a more conservative or constitutional slant—are shadow-banned, demonetized, or outright censored.

Does this not resemble the tactics of monarchies, communistic or fascist regimes that control what their citizens can see and hear?

Shouldn’t a true democracy allow the free flow of ideas, even if those ideas challenge the status quo?

Social Media Influencers: Fighters for Freedom or Puppets of Censorship?

Many social media influencers, especially those aligned with constitutional values, have become modern-day warriors for free speech. Yet, they face intense backlash, censorship, and de-platforming for voicing opinions that challenge globalist or left-leaning narratives.

How many times have we seen influential voices banned simply for questioning government policies, election results, or health mandates?

Isn’t it concerning that only a select group of elites can decide what is “acceptable” discourse?

While some influencers fall in line with these restrictive policies, others have emerged as champions for free speech, using their platforms to resist censorship and uphold constitutional rights. The question is: Will we support these voices, or will we allow them to be drowned out by corporate and governmental censorship?

The Dangers of Socialism, Communism, and Fascism: A Threat to Free Speech

At the heart of socialism, communism, and fascism lies a common tactic—control over speech. These ideologies have historically sought to suppress dissent, limit expression, and create a monolithic narrative that favors those in power.

Look no further than authoritarian regimes past and present, where dissenters are imprisoned, media is state-controlled, and free speech is criminalized. Can we really ignore the striking similarities between these oppressive ideologies and the current state of political discourse in America?

Is the suppression of speech today not a precursor to more draconian measures tomorrow?

Should we not fight to preserve the right to freely express political, social, and economic ideas?
