special Council Jack Smith is making moves to drop Donald Trump’s DC election interference case asking the judge to hit pause on the whole process with a new status report due no earlier than December 2nd Smith requesting that the court quote vacate the remaining deadlines in the pre-trial schedule to afford the government time to assess this unprecedented circumstance meaning Trump’s historic election win Paul Morrow attorney retired NYPD inspector and Fox News contributor joins us now uh Paul it so outside of Georgia and what whatever is happening at state level cases this is the end right this is the end of most of the federal investigations this is the end of Jack Smith yeah I mean as lawyers we tend not to speak so unequivocally but yes let’s speak unequivocally um realistically on to December he’s going to give an update with almost certainly is going to be a dismissal of the cases because there’s no point in letting it linger first of all he’s asking for all of the deadlines to be dismissed which means that the case essentially goes into a frozen State um he himself is leaving doj and the boss that appointed him meric Garland is also a lame duck as of 20 January whatever transpires Donald Dr Trump will of course pardon himself were the cases to survive and I think that indignity is something that they want to avoid so I would expect the whole thing to go away before Donald Trump is inaugurated there there’s been some conversation Paul about um forcing Jack Smith to preserve all of the records of his investigation so that that others can look in and see hey what was motivating the doj what was motivating the Jack Smith but in the past that hasn’t been the case in terms of Records being kept right this is sort of if there if there if you want any accountability on whether or not this was a political prosecution we need to make sure documents are preserved with Jack Smith that’s right and you can make a motion to do that Donald Trump’s lawyers can do that and if in fact the the uh the records disappear and at some point some sort of legal process is brought against Jack Smith or others involved in this the concept is called spoliation and essentially it means that the missing documents the missing evidence can be inferred against Jack Smith and those who might have gotten rid of some evidence so it would behoove everybody involved here to play ball make sure they preserve that evidence but you know what January 6 committee did not when some of that evidence was asked to be looked at all of a sudden it turns out that tapes and recordings were not preserved and in fact the chairman of that committee said we were under no obligation and uh that’s not really accurate and that would have been a point of contention and appeal in my opinion if the case had gone forward I want to ask you about Daniel Penny really quickly the trial is ongoing here in New York uh Daniel Penny of course took down Jordan Neely um in in the subway system he’s being prosecuted for manslaughter now W uh Witnesses are taking the stand Paul and sharing what they felt on the train that day here’s an example of a witness I think they said I talking about Jordan Neely I think this guy was on drugs you know because when he came in he was unbelievably off the charts he scared The Living Daylights out of everybody I came back to thank Mr penny for what he had done in that worst scenario it seems like this testimony I I mean not just his huge Paul I would think is sort of the make or break on what penny chose to do that day on the subway I think your instincts are accurate let’s recall these are prosecution witnesses and the most Salient statements that are emerging seem to favor Daniel Penny’s version of events look in a nutshell this is a balancing test okay he’s charged with two crimes that import either recklessness or negligence in howy acted and his defense will be justification I wasn’t Reckless I wasn’t negligent I did what I did I was justified in doing it to justify your actions you have to demonstrate that your state of mind was not Reckless was not negligent you know that you felt really threatened and that was the level of that threat well in in lie of taking the stand the best evidence that he’s going to be able to present is what the witnesses felt right other people in that car and in fact in a way that’s more compelling because they’re not advocating for him and he’d be advocating for himself obviously but Witnesses are justy trying to tell tell you what they saw right and so the inference here is that if the jurors if the excuse me the Witnesses were terrified then so was Daniel peny it was a genuine threat and in fact his actions were Justified but the system failed because nobody believes that Do we not see this as a slippery slope toward authoritarianism?

Shouldn’t we, as citizens, be the ones who decide what we can or cannot hear, not a centralized body or corporation?

Social Media and Cable News: Platforms or Gatekeepers?

Social media was once hailed as the bastion of free speech. It allowed ordinary individuals to share their thoughts, advocate for causes, and hold the powerful accountable. However, over the years, major platforms like Twitter (now X), Facebook, and YouTube have become gatekeepers rather than facilitators of free expression.

Algorithms favor certain ideologies, while alternative viewpoints—especially those with a more conservative or constitutional slant—are shadow-banned, demonetized, or outright censored.

Does this not resemble the tactics of monarchies, communistic or fascist regimes that control what their citizens can see and hear?

Shouldn’t a true democracy allow the free flow of ideas, even if those ideas challenge the status quo?

Social Media Influencers: Fighters for Freedom or Puppets of Censorship?

Many social media influencers, especially those aligned with constitutional values, have become modern-day warriors for free speech. Yet, they face intense backlash, censorship, and de-platforming for voicing opinions that challenge globalist or left-leaning narratives.

How many times have we seen influential voices banned simply for questioning government policies, election results, or health mandates?

Isn’t it concerning that only a select group of elites can decide what is “acceptable” discourse?

While some influencers fall in line with these restrictive policies, others have emerged as champions for free speech, using their platforms to resist censorship and uphold constitutional rights. The question is: Will we support these voices, or will we allow them to be drowned out by corporate and governmental censorship?

The Dangers of Socialism, Communism, and Fascism: A Threat to Free Speech

Is the suppression of speech today not a precursor to more draconian measures tomorrow?
