we could soon see a long list of additives and different chemicals that’s in our food get banned and this comes down to RFK Jr uh Robert F Kennedy Jr has now been nominated as the Secretary of Health and Human Services for the incoming Trump Administration and remember RFK Jr he’s been promoting the idea of making America healthy again right Maha uh well there’s a pointment if he gets confirmed because he has to go through the Senate first it will put him in in a position to oversee food in the United States and medicine and drugs and everything else and he has previously hinted well said pretty just descriptively actually at the different chemicals and food additives that may soon face regulation or just be banned entirely um we consume a lot of things in America that are illegal to put in food in many countries around the world including in Europe um I’m going to be going deep into what these additives are and the push to ban them today also let me know your thoughts uh in the comments do you think that we should be banning food additives this could be like common Dy you know red dyes and yellow dyes but could also be some of the more fundamental ingredients that we just commonly consume do you think we should ban them let me know uh meanwhile the Trump transition team is allegedly putting together a list of Military Officers at the Pentagon who could lose their jobs and as part of this there could even be a review of the handling of the US military pool out from Afghanistan and they’re suggesting some officers may even be court marshaled that means of course military court now I’ll be talking about these topics and more today so let’s jump into it now first off Robert F Kennedy Jr he has now been nominated as the Secretary of Health and Human Services Under the incoming Trump Administration this will put him in a position to oversee Foods Cosmetics drugs pharmaceutical products a long list of things about 80% of them in the United States and as part of his plan RFK Jr has previously said very publicly uh that these chemicals and additives in our food May soon face regulation or be banned he has been pushing for this aggressively and again it’s a lot of things he’s talking about the pharmaceutical industry and everything else but I want to talk about the food in particular remember RFK Jr he’s been promoting this whole Narrative of Maha make America healthy again and he posted a video called enough is enough back in September with a few household food items laid out on the table in front of him and he explained his views on some of this now in this he focused mainly on yellow uh yellow number five food die that’s very common but then he uses that just one example of the broader problems we’re facing with food and he noted the declining health and life expectancy of Americans we would like to think of ourselves as like you know the the America number one uh but in terms of health and in terms of life expectancy of developing nations were towards the bottom right health and life expectancy we towards the bottom at least you know again among developed Nations and he pointed also to the problems of food additives he suggested maybe part of it now he focused mainly on tarine this is you know in this video uh a lot of you probably know that is yellow five and he explained how it went from being a chemical byproduct from the coal industry they used to mix it with gravel like tar to pave roads and then they found out they could create a food Dy with it originally a fabric Dy then a food Dy these days they make it from petroleum and now it’s used in a large they make it with petroleum and now it’s in a large amount of food that we consume look look at the back of labels how many food products have yellow number five uh even normal food like corn is sometimes dyed with it to make it look you know more appealing uh it’s in your medications it’s in your cough syrup it’s in so many things now he alleged that yellow number five is known to cause tumors asthma developmental delays neurological damage ADHD right Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder hormone disruption Gene damage anxiety depression and int intestinal injuries and he notes that these negative effects have been known for decades and because of these known effects tarine is heavily restricted in most countries and some even Place warning labels on their packaging when they use it because of that but look in the United States we consume it probably on a daily basis uh depending if you’re consuming um you know processed food of course even if you’re consuming non-organic uh vegetables and stuff you might be consuming it now he goes on to explain this is just one additive this is just one example of something that we regularly consume on a very regular basis and noting as well this is one example of a long list of harmful chemicals that we regularly consume watch this I’ve been picking on tarine today but that’s just one of at least 100 chemical poisons that our health agencies allow into our children’s food I can make a video just like this to talk about red 40 BHA BHD pottassium bromade chemical after chemical and on and on and on if just one of them can cause all of these problems imagine what they’re doing in combination that’s never been studied if we took all of these chemicals out our nation would get healthier immediately we’d have fewer sick days we’d have better focus we’d have less anxiety our kids would learn more easily we’d lose weight we’d have more energy we’d have fewer tumors and longer lives it’s not all dark over the past 16 years the government has banned eight chemical additives that cause cancer genetic damage asthma and many of the other self conditions as tarine does and you know what’s interesting all eight of those crucial steps forward in our kids’ Health were taken under President Trump now on the food front RFK Jr has criticized many additives many ingredients and many substances that could be on a long list for his initial actions he’s actually kind of given a layout of what he’s planning to do now based on his public statements The Epic Times we put together a list explaining some of the first additives that we could very likely see get regulated have a look at this Epic Times put this together one of the first ones high fructose corn syrup and it notes that during his campaign Kennedy repeat reply emphasized the risks of high fructose corn syrup hfcs the most common sweetener in American processed food and notes that though approved for use in both the EU European union and the United States high fructose corn syrup in Europe is used in a modified form called isoglucose which contains up to 30% fructose whereas American high fructose coron syrup has 42 to 55% fructose now some of you who live in Latin America who maybe travel to Latin America you might have noticed something have you ever noticed that if you drink Coca-Cola in Latin America it often times does not contain high fructose corn syrup it contains cane sugar why is that because a lot of countries ban it and of course even in countries that don’t ban it it’s different from the one we consume in America Epic Times notes that research in rats found that rats consumed high fructose corn syrup gained more weight than those that consume table sugar another study in 2012 found that countries that consume more high fructose Corin syrup had a 20% greater prevalence of type 2 diabetes Now another example is seed oils uh seed oils have kind of become a meme on the web lately uh a lot of like Health enthusiasts they’re very big on Banning seed oils suddenly these are different for example from like olive oil and more traditional things like you know butter or ghee or whatever else right these are seed oils things you have to use processes for to extract Epic Times Al that Kennedy has repeatedly criticized the wide consumption of processed vegetable oils also called seed oils and not that most seed oils like canola soybean corn sunflower sunflower oils they’re approved by FDA and grass and know that soybean oil is the most commonly consumed oil in the United States and they know that currently there is concl there is inconclusive evidence to link seed oils with major health risks some people argue they’re like borderline poisonous and know that though some Studies have suggested a correlation between popular seed oil usage with cancer according to a previous investigation by The Epic Times and know said this is because compared to fats like Tallow which is saturated most processed vegetable oils are high in monosaturated and poly uh polyunsaturated fats which make them more prone to oxidation when heated and notes that when eaten these oxidized fats can damage cells and genes in the body um if you want to know personally I use mostly olive oil and I should note that you should be careful the olive oil you buy cuz Americans consume a lot of rancid olive oil you got to look at the expiration date and actually I’ve started using ghee uh high quality ghee I got it from cost I love it it’s fantastic uh those are my personal preferences uh in first person I don’t use seed oils or vegetable oils because of some of these risks and notes here another one is synthetic food dyes uh this is something he’s been very loud about uh something that is very common in medicines in you know normal vegetables even uh but especially in processed foods Epic Times notes that synthetic food dyes which include Tardis the one he mentioned that’s yellow Yow 5 there’s also red 40 Red 2 yellow 6 green 3 blue 1 and blue two these are not used is prolifically prolifically or at all in other countries in some countries they’re illegal now noce that these food dyes have been linked to behavioral problems like ADHD and cancer most food dyes are made from petroleum actually we consume a lot of petroleum products uh especially when you get to the um the uh the flavoring uh often times the carrying liquid is going to be some is going to be petroleum based liquid notably and also this makes them cheaper and more durable than the natural colors used in countries like Canada and Australia in Canada and other sub some other countries if you buy cereal instead of consuming something dyed with you know these chemical dyes uh they’ll have things made from like carrots or beets and things like that the normal food products we consume the normal cereal brands even some of the candy brands here they they sell us the ones with these chemicals in Europe and other countries they sell you ones with natural dyes made from like vegetables now it goes on to list a large number of other chemicals and additives that are found commonly in our food and the information on how Studies have shown their potential harm I recommend reading this article by the way if you’re interested uh just as some examples of what they go over BHA BH h t they have long chemical names these are used in chips crackers cereals a lot of other products and these chemicals that we consume regularly are alleged to affect our immune systems and could cause cancer there is potassium bromate which is used in some baked goods and can cause cancer as well as toxicity in the blood and liver there’s titanium dioxide it’s like a white coloring uh often times they use it to create like a smoky color or like a like an opaque U you know kind of color this is banned in Europe because it can impair DNA or chromosomes Ada legal to consume here in the United States it’s banned in Europe it’s used in some flour products and it’s been shown to to be toxic to organs and cells and causes respiratory illnesses and also quote significant behavioral changes there’s benzol peroxide which is also banned in Europe but legal here in the United States that’s used in flour and milk often times made for cheeses it was banned in Europe in the 9s because of concerns it can cause liver damage and poisoning and it can also break down into a Carson it can cause cancer now look take this as a whole and remember a lot of food on store shelves doesn’t just have like one of these products if you buy most Foods they can they have a large combination of these chemicals and a long list of other ones I’m not even naming here Kennedy is listing like a hundred of them right uh now Kennedy notes that while we do know some of the harmful effects of these products individually we know that this one causes this problem that one causes that problem there aren’t even studies on what effects there are when you combine them and when we buy and eat a lot of these products we’re combining them we’re consuming multiple versions of these things in conjunction with each other now in another video from two weeks ago also about the USDA Kennedy explained the industry behind many of these chemicals he’s alleging that the reason we consume these things is not just because you know the companies are trying to cut corners on cost or whatever there’s an industry behind it an entire ecosystem he’s alleging and he noted it even goes into how Farms are regulated in ways that encourage the uses of pesticides and chemicals and into the issue is with the approval processes for this he also explains the alleged corporate interests watch this the corporate interests have hijacked the usda’s dietary guidelines to make natural unprocessed Foods barly an after thought that’s one reason why 70% of the American diet now consists of ultra process food we’re going to change that we’re going to give Farmers an offramp from the current system that destroys their health wrecks the soil makes Americans sick and destroys Family Farms we’re going to rewrite the regulations to give us smaller operators a break we’re going to encourage sustainable regenerative farming that can build soil and replenish agers we’re going to ban the worst agricultural chemicals that are already prohibited in other countries and we’re going to remove conflicts of interest from the USDA dietary panels and commission now look we’re going to see how this goes um this is an interesting narrative because the this position against again food additives big corporations the effects on Farmers pesticides this used to be kind of more like the hippie left that was on this stuff uh go to your your health food store and tell me who’s working there often times the organic food folks the ones against chemicals and food and pesticides on farms and the ones kind of talking about the problems with American food versus what they sell in Europe and Canada and Australia It’s usually the left there’s been an interesting shift in this country now where a lot of the media criticizing RFK Jr for this is actually among that group of media right on the left now one argument is they argue that Kennedy is a conspiracy theorist he notes at some of his ideas about there so maybe too extreme they allege I’m just telling you what they say uh they talk that he’s a he’s an antivaxer he is noted he’s not antivaccine but he doesn’t believe in the vaccine regimens and some of the chemicals used in them and the possible effects of them he’s not saying he’s going to ban them but he has said that he will maybe change the uh the schedules for kids for example so you won’t have to get your kid like 40 vaccines to go to public school um he’s also talking about going after things like um like fluoride and drinking water and now a lot of the media has been criticizing him for this the other side of the argument is that a lot of these media get a lot of money from those Industries a lot of those media folks some of their biggest advertisers are drug companies and companies along these lines and so you could say maybe there’s a possible conflict of interest uh but I would say also that because of covid-19 and the narratives around the vaccine you know 2019 2020 the public debate in this country around medicines and chemicals and everything ironically it’s become more conservatives at the Forefront of pushing against this and so it’s become a kind of a politicized issue I can tell you uh personally I grew up in a household at least with my dad where we often times consumed organic food and uh stayed away from most chemical products not to say I didn’t eat some chemical products uh I do have a soft spot for Hot Cheetos I should note uh may maybe I’ll stockpile them before this all goes down I I can run the stock the hot Cheeto Black Market when Kennedy comes in uh but look on this you know of course we’ll see where this thing goes uh it could be possible though we actually could see a lot of products get changed on store shelves uh it is not likely they’re going to ban these the likely effect as we’ll see changes similar to what happens in Europe and other countries where a lot of the companies that sell these products they already have alternative products for countries where the chemicals we consume are banned uh a lot of the Cal products we consume they have different products they sell in the US than what they sell in Europe and for example it would not be hard for them just to to switch those out because they already have them they just don’t sell them to us a lot of candy products a lot of other things they already have different versions they sell to other countries because we consume things that are illegal in those countries now we’ll of course see where this goes uh this will likely more affect large corporations and processed foods but Kennedy is saying he’s going to be going after these things and he’s suggesting as well that we could see kind of a uh kind of a domino effect that could even get into our farming practices and even get into for example uh more sustainable farming well restoration soil restoration and a lot of other things it’ll be very interesting to watch again issues that the left used to be bigger on but because it’s the Trump Administration they’re painting it as like a conspiracy theory thing but look 10 years ago it was it was mostly the left talking about these things so you know we’ll see where it goes now in other news the Trump transition team is allegedly putting together a list of military officers of the Pentagon who could lose their jobs and as part of this there could be a review of the handling of the US military pull out from Afghanistan and some officers involved with these things may even face Court Marshal they could go to again you know military prison possibly NBC said this they say the Trump transition team is compiling a list of senior current and former US Military Officers who were directly involved in the withdrawal from Afghanistan and exploring whether they could be Court marshal for their involvement according to a Us official and a person familiar with the plan keep in mind this is NBC and they’re citing Anonymous sources and we know how that often goes but hear me out they say this they say official working on the transition are considering creating a commission to investigate the 2021 withdrawal from Afghanistan including gathering information about who was directly involved in the decision-making for the military how it was carried out and whether the military leaders could be eligible for charges as serious as treason the Us official and person with knowledge of the plan said now they note it is Being Framed as a review of how of how the us first got into the war in Afghanistan and how the US ultimately withdrew they note that NBC News did reach out to a to multiple officials on the Trump transition team about the story one of them said quote the sources apparently pushing the story appear to be your typical selfish Washington DC insiders seeking to gain better positions for their own Administration jobs said an individual with knowledge of the campaign now we’ll see where this goes whether it’s true or not one thing we can say for sure Trump has been a very vocal critic of the pull out from Afghanistan he believed our troops deserved A better ending to that war especially those who lost their friends or were injured or who really believed in fighting there and believed in what we were doing uh he believed it was a slap in the face to the veterans Trump has also noted as have many conservatives that allowing the Taliban to get hold of all this US military equipment was a very terrible move uh because we essentially armed the Taliban and the Taliban was allowed to take over uh they rolled in again you know the entire Afghan government was overthrown within just a couple days uh of the US pulling out uh and also of course there was the issue with the withdrawal itself and the fact that they didn’t get the civilians out before the troops out another move that many would say was problematic because it led to a lot of people getting killed especially us informant so look in other words the idea that the officers in the United States could be court marshaled for this this or might face some charges even something as serious as treason that is a rumor but there are other reports saying that the Trump team may be looking to just fire some of them in the Pentagon the firings are very likely the firing them is going to be very likely because they’re saying this across the board court Marshal maybe now Reuters says this they say members of president-elect Donald Trump’s transition team are drawing up a list of milit AR officers to be fired potentially to include the Joint Chiefs of Staff two sources said and what would be an unprecedented shake up at the Pentagon it’s not really unprecedented hear me out cu Obama fired a lot of them uh but hear me out cuz I’ll get into that now they note that one of the sources question by question the feasibility of a mass firing at the Pentagon it was also unclear if Trump himself would endorse the plan although in the past he has railed extensively against defense leaders who have criticized him they know that Trump has also spoken during the campaign of firing woke generals and those responsible for the troubled 2021 pull out from Afghanistan now look on the point of whether this would be possible it very likely could be remember we saw something very similar happen under Barack Obama when he was president uh you might even REM remember some of that even included him firing generals who were critical of him uh for example remember do you remember General Stanley mccristal General Stanley mccristal who had a Rolling Stones article where he got drunk with his you know guys around him and he said some CR he had some criticisms of Obama Obama fired him over that and so suggesting that the president would fire a general for being critical of them this is not new there is a legal backing to that as well the president of the United States is of course the um you know the commander-in-chief it is actually against the law for milit for you know us service members to criticize the commander-in-chief they can’t do it now have a look at this from back in 2013 this was under the Obama Administration Investors Business Daily there was a lot of reports on this they said Obama’s military coup purges 197 officers in five years and they say what the president calls my military is being cleansed of any officer suspected of disloyalty to or disagreement with the administration on matters of policy or for structure leaving the compli leaving the compliant and fearful the allegation was that Obama basically removed many of the top generals uh purged the military of anybody who would question him anybody who wouldn’t follow orders and then replaced them with his people now there are alleging Trump is planning to do the same thing and again conservatives were critical of it back in 2012 and 2013 it happened over the course of several years and it continued actually after that uh they’re probably not as as critical of that idea now that Trump’s coming in um remember this does tend to be a political thing you like it when your guy does it you don’t like it when the other guy does it uh but I should note my point with this is It’s Not Unusual uh this has this does have precedence and even legally there’s a legal backing to it uh when it comes to again currently serving members of the military and their their relation with the commander-in-chief there are actually legal issues with this now of course it’s also possible the military could see the same kind of cost cutting cutting and budget reviews that are shaping up throughout the entire government right now they’re very likely not going to get left out from that and remember like Obama fired like 100 97 generals actually more than that I think by the end Trump could go after a lot more than that um look they’re talking about firing like 40,000 50,000 members of government just in general V ramaswami is talking about getting rid of entire agencies um the Pentagon on this they just failed another audit on their budget tasing purpose said this just recently said the Department of Defense is still struggling to account for its finances the department once again failed its annual audit in its expenditures and assets this markets the seventh straight year of failures uh since they’ve started these audits actually they not the Department of Defense has not passed one of the mandatory audit since they were implemented in 2018 under Trump and they note that Michael McCord under Secretary of Defense uh controller and Chief Financial Officer announced the latest failure on Friday November 15th saying the result was expected now they note that according to mord the overall audit earned a disclaimer of opinion meaning that the Department of Defense failed to provide enough information for Auditors to reach a precise and accurate verdict on the finances in fact they say of the 28 separate entities audited 15 of them all received disclaimers now look you could write off part of that and I know on one front in ter of political debate some people suggest it’s it’s black budgets and secret programs that maybe there’s things they cannot disclose and so when you try to audit them because of security clearances they’re not just going to open the books up to some random auditor coming in right come on uh they’re not going to do it now you can believe what you will in terms of whether that’s innocent or nefarious I know there’s different takes on that but just in general the military is obviously going to have secret issues they’re probably not going to let Auditors into that that’s just the reality uh there’s also the more surface issues of just all around overspending on things when it comes to military contracts uh this has been told to me personally by some business folks that if you get a military deal you stack on a couple extra zeros at the end of that number when you tell them the price because they often pay it uh and so it is part of the culture to overcharge the military if you get a military contract uh because it’s it’s hard to get those defense contracts because of some of the different Audits and reviews you have to go under they’ll they’ll they’ll clip on a couple extra zeros at the end of that number when they send the bill now look in other news remember we heard that satirical website the onion they bought Alex Jones’s Infowars in a bankruptcy auction well that might be running into some issues a judge on this has now stopped the sale I’ll be talking about this more to come back from a quick break so don’t go anywhere and we’ll be back in less than a minute so stay with me experts agree one of the best ways to course because of the ongoing uh lawsuit against Alex Jones he’s again challenging it but we then found out that satirical website the onion had just bought it now apparently this was done in an auction format that aligned with the court and the federal judg has now stopped the sale because of some problems with the way the auction was handled now Alex Jones Infowars he explained what happened watch this finally corporate media is reporting that not only did the judge halt the sale of inf4 Wars at auction of the onion but that the sale did not go through it was not an aution now he goes on to detail more of what took place uh he does note again he’s facing a defamation lawsuit with the families of the Sandy Hook shooting right um he says that he’s appealing them that and he has some issues with it of course meaning this is technically an ongoing case but he was made to put Infowars up for auction while this is still ongoing Infowars was supposed to go for auction again because of the ruling with this uh he’s trying to appeal it but with Infowars and supporters of Jones they were trying to save Infowars by buying it in the auction right uh the way this was done essentially was a blind auction not a public auction initially they wanted to have it where this was public on the internet you or myself could bid on Infowars and try to buy Infowars a normal auction like you’re selling a cow right uh but the way they did it was not like that they made it a closed auction you had to make kind of anonimous bids and it was it was not public right the way the deal went was that it wasn’t really an auction though apparently the rules were not even followed according to the judge actually not even just Jones Jones alleges that some of the families involved in the case what happened was is they put a placeholder in the bid so that no matter how high the bid went from Jones or his supporters or anybody else money from the Judgment against him would like automatically kick in and then outbid whoever was bidding and this was done allegedly without the knowledge of those who were bidding at least you know on the side of Jones and his supporters a couple people knew but they didn’t know here’s Jones giving us take on this watch now they had earlier regular auction rules in a regular auction house doing it and it was going to be online anybody could bid but two days before they said no no no new rules just sealed bid the day of that’s it and then we find out it was all pre-arranged and pre-agreed the judge on the case now he’s coming out publicly talking about this the judge is now reviewing the auction uh at the very least this is going to delay the sale of Infowars it is possible it could go up for an auction still it’s also possible we could see supporters of Jones end up winning the bid or Jones himself even it’s not clear whether the families can buy it and do what they want with it they might try to do that it turns out though that the onion did not actually have the highest bid which is what make what’s what’s making this complicated they didn’t actually bid the highest but because of the way the auction was handled they were made to be the winner and that’s one of the concerns the judge has raised uh the judge raised also some public concerns over how this was done now what’s big here is the timing could be important they were trying to auction this before Trump came into office the Trump Administration is making a return with the upcoming inauguration January 20th that’s very soon and the focus on the justice department front is going to be investig tigating the alleged weaponization of Justice part of that will include conservative influencers journalists news outlets that have faced either legal actions or censorship and if it does turn out that there was politicization or special interest at work behind the scenes then this could really really shake things up remember Donald Trump is saying publicly he’s going to be looking into the censorship efforts which include corporate news outlets government agencies activists big Tech organizations and other groups who may have been colluding with each other to censor people politically that is the allegation that is the argument right and he’s suggesting that individuals who have been involved with this whether it’s businesses or individuals that they could themselves begin facing legal action he’s even talking about possible antitrust violations and civil rights violations uh we could see the tables turn on the legal front and remember folks a lot of conservative news outlets journalists and influencers are facing lawsuits right now or have even gone to prison and the allegation and you believe what you will on the cases whether you think they’re legitimate or not uh the allegation especially from many people coming to the Trump Administration is this represents a type of censorship or selective enforcement of law uh which Trump himself would argue he has been a victim of you were going to watch the tables turn on this and there’s very likely going to be a review of many of these legal cases and possibly even even a review into how the cases were begun how they were handled how they were prosecuted and a long list of other things uh even for example some of the judges and prosecutors could be investigated as part of this because Trump himself believes he’s been a victim of this it’s going to be some interesting times going forward with this all right folks that said if you have questions comments leave them in the chat we’ll jump into questions now also please hit the like button it really helps us especially on YouTube uh we’re the the the foot is coming off the pedal on censorship a bit it seems uh we’re bouncing back a bit on YouTube folks that say let’s jump into some questions um real quick because I know a lot of you probably have questions about this um a lot of you probably want to know my take on um you know zalinsky getting permission to launch long range long range strikes deep into Russia now he’s now gotten permission for this right before Trump’s coming into office um when it comes to the Russia Ukraine war I I will note just my personal position folks I have viewers who are Ukrainian I have viewers who are Russian uh you know it’s been interesting actually as I asked some of the other day where you’re all from We have viewers from all over the world uh you know for me I feel uh you know there there are people who think like I do you know what I mean and people I can relate to in just about every country on Earth and so I I tend to view this as more of like a humanitarian thing um meaning I don’t I don’t think it’s good I think it’s terrible that what’s happening to people and I think people’s lives are being destroyed but uh I want to talk about the military strategy involved with this um I am someone who studies military strategy as a hobby uh I’ve read you know the seven military Classics of China I’ve read Napoleon’s uh you know Personal Diary I I enjoy reading military strategy and so I can appreciate military strategy from a from a detached point from my personal feelings about a conflict or War my personal take on the strategy right now is this Biden has given zalinski volodimir zalinski head of Ukraine per to launch deep strikes into Russia Russia has said that they will launch nuclear attacks if that happens what is going on my personal take is this um zalinski and Biden are basically calling Putin’s Bluff and the reason for this is that Putin would Vladimir Putin launch a nuclear attack within maybe two months or three months of possibly having a favorable negotiation on ending the War uh Trump Putin and zalinsky are you know Trump actually has had decent relations with zalinski he’s had decent relations with Putin Trump is saying he wants a peace deal Trump will probably negotiate it a peace deal is on the table what does that mean that means that what zalinski does not have right now what Ukraine is lacking is a card to play on the negotiating table they don’t have it uh Ukraine because of some of the restrictions on launching attacks they’ve been purely on the defense they’ve launched a very small incursion into Russian territory meaning their ability to negotiate can only result in them losing they are destined to lose the only thing they can bring to the table right now is saying we will agree to end the war that’s it the reason they don’t have anything to negotiate with is because they haven’t been able to launch attacks and so opening this to allow for these types of attacks will give them cards to negotiate with they’re basically calling Putin’s Bluff that he will not launch a nuclear attack and retaliation and on Putin’s side look if he were to launch a nuclear attack you would have massive sanctions it would probably destroy Russia economically it would damage the relations also with Russia’s allies China North Korea Iran and others and it would also basically take take the negotiations off the table it would turn all of NATO against them and it would probably bring the the fire and fury of Donald Trump along with that uh we could even see possible nuclear retaliation on Russia in other words it would be it would be a it would be an act of assured destruction for Putin were he to launch nuclear attacks would he do that when within 3 months none of this will matter 3 months possibly right would he ass Ure his destruction with 3 months on the table I doubt it uh he will need to make threats in order to maintain strength and he will probably launch counterattacks in order to main strength but I don’t think he’ll actually nuke anybody um and again it’s because the negotiations zinsky on his side will probably only launch attacks to the degree that they will have cards to play on the table for the negotiations my personal interpretation of this is it’s being done for negotiations um and that’s why it’s happening my personal opinion as somebody who enjoys military strategy um and again I should note I have fans of this show in Russia and Ukraine and on a human level I care very much about this and um I I see it is terrible in terms of what war does to to countries personally right that said uh let’s see here first question uh this is from kennel Winslow 1166 you’re saying I’m glad glad these poisons may be bented you’re talking about the food additives and chemicals and stuff you’re saying but what will be in place to ensure these companies actually comply and not just change the label um when it comes to food regulations and chemicals and Foods typically typically it actually is pretty strong the ability to get around adding a certain chemical to food is is a bit difficult there are ways to do it uh for example they can change the chemical composition of something create a new additive and then start using that but they could fade you know but again when you’re dealing with food products typically there’s an approval process so there needs to be a review to you know basically license the use of that as a food chemical um in other words they they can’t just add ingredients to Food and Drugs because of the regulations now I’m typically not a big fan of overregulation but I believe in some regulation um I do think that in a purely Anar you know anarcho capitalist environment you would have companies selling you the most poisonous thing you will buy if it benefits them and I don’t think it would be far-fetched that they would do that I do actually agree with regulating um harmful chemicals personally right this is just my personal opinion and um because I I I do believe a lot of big businesses would sell it um if they can profit from it and I’d say case in point and this is the point that a lot you know before Kennedy a lot of Democrats were on this point as well maybe some of them still are you know when I was growing up it was more like the hippies who were into this uh it was more the hippies and the and like the the leftwing kind of granola crunchy people who were into this kind of stuff you know it was that side of the political spectrum and the criticism was these these corporations they sell different products to us in the United States than they do in other countries they sell healthier products in other countries because the countries ban the unhealthy ingredients here we consume the unhealthy ingredients some people might argue well it’s better for flavor right it’s better for flavor um a lot of these things don’t actually have flavor uh they’re just colorings or things for preservation and stuff like that and you could argue it might reduce the shelf life if they stop using it um when you get into things like artificial sweeteners for example there’s also the argument that you know they’d have to put sugar in which isn’t the best either but is actually proven to be not as harmful as some of the chemical sweeteners or processed sweeteners and so you know there’s a lot of different ways to look at it a lot of it would be more on the price level of it uh one thing you’ll also find is if you go to Europe you know my wife is a French she’s a dual citizen French so we go to Europe here and there um you’ll find they have a lot of a lot of the food products they have are just less processed in general Americans we eat a lot of processed foods and a lot of Europeans they tend to not stockpile food like Americans do I I stockpile food there’s something in the American character that makes us like squirrel away cans of food it’s it’s something in our nature I I don’t know what it is uh Americans we we just have like this uh this squirrel Instinct of having to like like stockpile food we we just do it instinctively I do it like I have several months of food stockpile the way I just I just do it instinctively um and so but Europeans they often don’t do that and so they they’ll buy a lot of Fresh Food they’ll buy a lot of fresh vegetables and because the Market’s for that the turnaround is much quicker um and so you know the market is set up for that type of Lifestyle um personally I have nothing against canned food and a lot of times canned food will not have many of they have they have some but not all these things uh and so we’ll see how this whole thing plays out right let’s see uh Aaron Haron you’re saying absolutely agree I can eat what I want when I travel to Europe and managed to actually drop 5 PBS sorry Hamlin uh you’re saying I definitely know I feel better eating clean it’s too hard here because it’s in it’s in everything supply/demand will drive prices down it’s true uh I actually i’ I’ve heard people talk about this and I’ve seen it personally many people note that if they go and travel to Europe and you’re living there for a while you kind of naturally start losing weight um it’s not to say they don’t have some they don’t have an overweight problem if you go to some places you find people who are overweight as well but they’ll note that they eat just as much there you know in America we have this whole thing about carbs look Italy eats tons of carbs you know it’s like it’s like a staple of their diet pastas and pizzas and everything else uh they’re the most kid-friendly country in Europe probably because all the food is stuff kids like to eat the food is good people eat a lot a lot of life revolves around food if you were to eat the same thing in America you would probably get gain weight way faster than them same thing if you go to a lot of Asian countries a lot of them have food cultures they eat a lot and they don’t gain weight like we do you know you have it coming up in some areas but they don’t gain weight like we do and some people suggest that what is it about just being here that you can like drink water and gain weight like what is it that we’re doing wrong and some people like RFK Jr would argue it’s because we consume all these wild chemicals all the time things that are illegal in these countries and the other side is a you know there’s a few other arguments with this I don’t think it’s purely that I’d say part of it might be stress uh you know I read I read a lot of this stuff um you know I look into a lot of this stuff uh part of it is actually stress as well actually stress can make you hold on to waight something a lot of people don’t know uh also just having active Lifestyles I think I think the lifestyle a lot of us have where we’re just sitting at a desk for like 8 hours or 9 hours or even longer every day I don’t think that’s normal for people and um you know we we don’t exercise as much because of the way that Modern Life just is I would argue as well that if you look back in history you’ll find that even people with desk jobs tended to be relatively fit uh you know I I do think there’s something in our environment that’s causing a lot of this another big thing would be things that impact hormones hormones can of of course cause weight issues as well and remember um sometimes if you starve yourself I know a lot of people trying to lose weight just by starving themselves a lot of times your body will burn off the muscle before the fat and so it’s not necessarily good for you uh you know I’m just telling you this based on Research I’ve done I’m not like a health expert or anything like that but i’ I’ve I’ve read a lot of books on this and I’ve looked into it quite a bit um in other words my point is there are a lot of things in our environment that impact our hormones impact our stress levels impact our lifestyles and I would say that the drugs and chemicals and everything else add to it I I don’t think it’s being caused by one issue in other words but I do think these things do affect us um on a personal level I consume very little processed food other than the occasional bag of Hot Cheetos I like hot Cheetos I tend to not drink soda for the most part um I tend to have home-cooked meals more often than not I cook I cook actually I like to cook a few times a week and um you know that that’s kind of my choice but I but I will say that I I do tend to avoid these things mostly for these reasons actually Mary Cryder you’re saying jacking up the cost of things purchased by the government has been going on for as long as I can remember and I’ll be 70 on my next birthday yeah it is common you know which is crazy you know when this is one of the things when Trump first came into office back in 2016 that he was noting remember one of the first issues that Trump renegotiated was the new Air Force One and basically you know he remember he cancelled the new presidential helicopter that was being commissioned um he renegotiated the contract for the new Air Force One he was doing those things because he said why are you charging me so much for this he was arguing that the government tends to overspend uh on contracts because they don’t really negotiate uh it seems that something’s missing on the negotiating process um I’ve heard this you know folks I’m a journalist I talk to a lot of public officials I talked to a lot of people who run big companies it’s part of my job you know you’ve seen you’ve seen episodes where I’ve interviewed high ranking officials on a pretty ongoing basis I can tell you A lot of these individuals I I don’t think they have a problem saying it publicly but a lot of them just talking about contracts and stuff have noted this and they say that you know I know guys who were trying to get military contracts for like their businesses and they said that they’re shocked sometimes because they go in and they negotiate and they’re told by the individual they’re talking to um you know you should you should put a couple extra zeros on there and the guy’s like well why would I do that you know I’m so this is my price and they’re like well because everybody does it that’s how it is everybody does it now if you work in business you’ll know how ridiculous that is if you work in business you will pay less if you buy bulk the more you buy the less you pay now that that causes problems for smaller companies because they often times can’t compete on pricing against big big businesses uh because you know if you buy if you for example go to buy a product at a store and you buy one little bag of it you’re going to pay $10 $15 just hypothetically if you buy uh 20 of them you might get a 10% discount if you buy a thousand of them you might get a 30% discount uh if you go directly to the source you might you might pay wholesale that’s why they call it wholesale right if you cut out the middleman you you you pay wholesale uh this is the reason that Costco an American favorite uh is able to offer lower prices is because you’re buying bulk and you’re cutting out the middleman a lot of times the factories who work as the middleman they’ll they’ll tack on additional prices and so this is the way the market normally works right that that’s how it normally works why is it then when you have military contracts or government contracts they they they up the price they don’t reduce the price when you buy bulk and these are hu these are usually massive contracts like these are if you get a if you get a military contract and you’re a company you’re going to be selling a lot of that product you you don’t even need to sell in other markets if you don’t want to um and the issue comes down to this the argument is well they don’t properly negotiate the contracts uh at least not by normal business standards some people would argue on the other side of it is because they need additional security they need additional processes with it and those additional elements make the costs higher I’ve been told personally by people who work at some of these companies that that’s not the case they do it because they’ll pay and that’s the reason that they will tell you behind the scenes I’ll tell you right now right um and that’s just the way it is now they’re saying they’re going to have better negotiations on contracts and I do think that when it comes to the review with a lot of these things because the books are going to be open they’re going to be looking at these things and the other side is what what I’ve talked about before on this show uh that sometimes when you have a government budget or a business budget or whatever else you need to spend your whole budget because if you don’t you’re going to get less money next time they’re going to wonder why you’re spending under budget and so sometimes people working on purchasing they’ll just buy extra stuff they don’t really need or they’ll pay extra because they want to keep their budget they they don’t want their budget to be reduced and so that’s that’s the other side of it uh let’s see here uh California gal you’re saying the pull out from Afghanistan was definitely a discouraging thing for those who might want to sign up for the military could have contributed to the decrease in those wanting to join the military you know that’s the other side of it um you know Americans we like to believe we’re the good guys and when we go and fight for things we like to believe that we’re fighting again you know we’re fighting terrorists and we’re fighting Nazis which we did you know we’re fighting the Communists we’re fighting the totalitarian murderous jerks of the world uh there’s something in the DNA of Americans that will make us travel if if we find there’s a dirty tyrant in some random country we have a a a reaction within us that makes us want to go there and fight the guy like it’s it’s something inside of us Americans get annoyed by this stuff we will travel to countries we can’t even find on a map and that’s a lot of them uh to go and kill a tyrant right uh it’s it’s something in our nature it’s just something we do and so when you remove that from the table when you make it so that it it seems that that we weren’t fighting for a reason that we just handed it over um it does I think affect morale quite a bit and and that’s a really terrible thing uh you know I think that’s a terrible thing frankly and um you know we’re in all volunteer military uh a lot of Americans they’re not fighting because they have to they’re not fighting because they’re getting drafted or because they just are forced to they’re fighting because they believe in what they’re doing and if you make it so that that belief is not there uh yeah you’re going to have recruitment issues and and I do think that’s part of it unfortunately let’s see um Judy aim you’re saying there is the pink tax the additional 5% for anything for girls and then there’s the green uh pinky tax of additional 100% for the military it’s true um actually you know some some women have pointed this out and look I know I know people when they hear this like oh that’s that’s feminism no it’s true if you go to um a store and you want to see something funny or not funny depending on how you look at it a lot of female products even if it’s basically the same product as the male product uh this this includes you know shampoos or conditioners or sometimes even clothes they they charge more for women they charge more for women now why is that it’s because they’ll pay it that’s why uh they shop more than men do or at least you know conventionally maybe not all the maybe not these days maybe a lot of guys do online shopping but ladies how many of you have dated a guy and you go to his house and it’s like a mattress on the floor a TV and like a video game console and the guy has like nothing in his house gu guys don’t buy as much right they’re a little more barebones uh and so women they tend to enjoy shopping con not saying all of them my wife’s not like that actually but conventionally speaking they tend to shop more uh and so companies they will charge more because they’ll buy it because they will purchase it it’s the same thing with the military not comparing them to women um nothing no offense uh but the military will you know they bu they pay more for contracts and why it’s because they’ll do it they’ll pay the money they’ll buy it and so yeah people tack on additional money on it uh they do it folks right if if if that that’s uh an unfortunate reality if people will pay the price the companies will will charge the price right uh crash Bandit you’re saying well we were founded by people who gave the middle finger to England back in the day um yeah many people still do right um I would I would toss that tea in the water yet again if they tried taking away my rights actually look I know we have some viewers in England uh I’ve seen some of you I can I can actually say in all honesty I went to Europe recently I actually made it I actually made a stop in uh the UK and uh stayed with a friend for a couple days I liked it there I thought it was fantastic um interestingly actually all my friends in the UK are from Pakistan I have some great Pakistani friends uh there and you know they’re they’re perfectly westernized I know that the uh The Stereotype tends to be against them but no my friends are fantastic they’re they’re great people and um I very much enjoyed the UK actually I I really enjoyed it there uh I found it was I I felt uh I felt it didn’t feel as foreign to me as other parts of Europe it felt uh closer to America and I can actually see some of the influences that we probably have from there uh because of that I I very much enjoyed the UK I even went to Parliament and got in and was able to watch some of the debates uh because I have a friend who works in Parliament there I found it very interesting I I really enjoyed it there uh but it is true Americans we will not take any country or individual trying to take away our rights or at least we like to say we will uh because unfortunately if you look at American companies getting sued by European countries for like censorship stuff it’s becoming really common right now in fact if you were to ask me personally why a lot of big tech companies used to be really anti-trump and suddenly they’re kind of uh a little more friendly with Trump I think it’s because if you look a lot of these big companies are facing massive fines in Europe on a rolling basis meta they’re getting they’re getting charred like hundreds of millions by European countries for like violating random laws they have on like data and everything else uh they’re getting constantly charged by these countries right uh Facebook for sorry Facebook X for example under Elon Musk uh you know you have France trying to censor some of the content because it’s violating censorship laws there these issues are not things these companies can deal with themselves this can only be done on on a national level you you would need the president of the United States to put a stop to it and um so far these countries have been able to extend their laws onto American companies and onto American citizens by extension of that because of the globalization of of these companies you need you need the president to push back on that um and so you know tyranny comes in many forms as far as I’d see it and I don’t personally think it’s right let’s put it this I respect a lot of the laws in those countries I disagree with you know they’re going after things like data collection where these big corporations are collecting massive data on users I disagree with that I would actually prefer if that became illegal in the United States uh platforms Gathering all your personal information I think it opens the door to massive abuses of power I think it opens the door to these companies selling your data to other countries which can then use it for various means and I think it opens up a lot of doors as well for exploitation of of individuals I don’t agree with it I think it’s terrible but the other side you have is that if Americans can be censored or suppressed based on the laws of other countries and if American companies have to adhere to the most extreme levels of foreign law that means the lowest common denominator will end up D ating the values and standards and laws here it means that the global law because of the globalization of the internet will be determined uh by the lowest common denominator and and I think that’s kind of what we’re getting into these days look at how many American companies they won’t even criticize China look look at Hollywood look at the look at the NBA and what happens if they criticize the Chinese Communist party right they won’t do it that impacts everything because they’re being dictated by the lowest common denominator the Chinese Communist party uh you know again you need a you need a presidential reaction to this and we just haven’t seen that and so I I do think that that needs to be fixed personally uh and I think that’s kind of the new form of tyranny maybe the new 1776 will be the breaking from globalized law as it impacts American Business that’ll be a big thing actually uh folks that said thank you so much for joining me today don’t forget to like this video it helps us a lot especially with the algorithms uh and share the episode help us get the word out uh it seems that censorship is lifting a little bit on us it’s interesting to watch I hope that is the case uh thank you so much for being here I always appreciate your company I enjoy these conversations and folks join me again tomorrow 10:30 a.m. eastern time I will see you then as always please take care of yourselves stay inform Med and stay free thank you [Music]
