But again, something like the free market is kind of synonymous with America. And if you don’t like it, I don’t know how you can say you love this country. You know who loves this country? You know who’s not constantly complaining about what happened 200 years ago. And who’s not obsessed with seeing America through shitcoled glasses and shaking off the stench of what irredeemable privileged we are. Immigrants. AOC says, “So many people in this country hate women.” Oh jeez. Even the guy at the party who pulls out a guitar is like, “Way to ruin the fun.” Bill Maher is once again calling out the fringe left for hating America while idolizing countries with far worse track records. In recent years, we’ve seen countless people, mostly from the liberal side, tear into America for even the smallest flaws. While some of their criticisms may have merit, Mah believes they’re wildly exaggerated. So, he swooped in to set the record straight, and it was pure fire. Buckle up. This one’s going to be wild. Too many liberals give the impression that to them, America’s just a big red, white, and ew. A country that started out bad and will always be bad. Founded on an unrelenting history of sucking and unable to change. But we have changed a lot. Democrat Cy Bush tweeted, “This land is stolen land and black people still aren’t free.” And this was on the 4th of July. Really, not that I give a about the 4th of July. I’ve never been a rahrh guy, but I am a perspective guy. And that’s what too much of the left has lost. Perspective. Yeah. Sometimes it honestly saddens me when the left seems to find no good in this country. It’s like they’re always searching for something to condemn, some perceived injustice or historical sin to hold over America’s head forever. They say we live on stolen land. But let’s be real, almost every nation on Earth was built through conquest or conflict, including the very countries the left loves to praise. They say black Americans aren’t truly free. Yet, this is the same nation that elected a black president not too long ago. Progress may not be perfect, but it’s undeniable. That’s why Mars Point hits home. America isn’t flawless, but it’s far from the villain it’s made out to be. Instead of constantly tearing it down, maybe it’s time to acknowledge that despite its scars, this country remains one of the few still fighting to improve itself. 72% of black people under 30 are optimistic about their future in America, way more than white people the same age. And as far as the land goes, yes, I guess we could change the name of Captain America to Captain Stolen Land. Trust me, even that won’t satisfy the woke mob. No matter how much you apologize or try to make amends, it’s never enough. And seriously, how do they expect us to return the land? Are we all supposed to just pack up, hand over the keys, and abandon America? That’s not a plan. That’s delusion. This is exactly why so many people are turning away from the far-left fringe. Their demands keep getting more extreme, more detached from reality, and more impossible to meet. You can’t build a better society by constantly punishing the present for the sins of the past. Instead of uniting people, this kind of thinking drives them away. It’s not progress, it’s self-destruction. At some point, we’ve got to stop trying to appease those who refuse to be pleased and start focusing on what actually moves the country forward. But honestly, to all the people who start every public event now with one of those land acknowledgements where they say, “I’m standing on land that was stolen from the proud indigenous people of the Chumash tribe.” I say, “Either give it back or shut down.” Yeah, I agree. Enough with the pandering. Enough with the hollow speeches and virtue signaling. The woke liberals love to talk about land acknowledgements, but what does that actually do? Saying a few poetic words before an event doesn’t solve anything. It doesn’t change history, and it certainly doesn’t improve anyone’s life. If they’re truly serious about giving the land back, then let’s see them actually do it. Start by handing over their homes, their property, their campuses. But of course, that’s where the talk ends. It’s all about looking righteous without making real sacrifices. Mars Point stings because it’s true. This obsession with appearances over action has turned genuine activism into performance art. America doesn’t need more grandstanding. It needs honest conversations and realistic solutions. Otherwise, all these acknowledgements are just empty words echoing into the void. AOC says so many people in this country hate women. Oh jeez. Even the guy at the party who pulls out a guitar is like, way to ruin the fun. There’s no country in the world today that recognizes and protects the rights and freedoms of women more than America. From equal access to education and employment to the right to speak freely, vote, and lead in every field, American women enjoy liberties that millions around the world can only dream of. So for AOC to claim that America doesn’t like women simply because voters didn’t choose Hillary Clinton or Kla Harris feels incredibly disingenuous. Elections aren’t popularity contests based on gender. They’re about leadership, competence, and vision. Americans shouldn’t be guilt tripped or gaslighted into voting for someone just to tick a diversity box. Kamala Harris, for instance, failed to present a strong enough case for why she deserved that vote. Supporting women’s empowerment doesn’t mean endorsing every female candidate blindly. It means holding everyone, regardless of gender, to the same high standard of accountability and merit. Congressman Jamal Bowman says, “Capitalism is slavery by another name.” No, it’s not. It’s the thing that has given more people more prosperity and hope than any other system. Flawed though it surely is. But that’s absolutely right. Capitalism, just like democracy, isn’t perfect. But it remains the most effective system for innovation, progress, and individual freedom. Compared to socialism or communism, which the fringe left seems increasingly eager to promote, capitalism has consistently lifted millions out of poverty and rewarded hard work and creativity. Now, to be fair, not every left-leaning individual is a socialist, but the number of people leaning in that direction is growing rapidly. You can see it in the way younger members of the Democratic Party talk about redistribution and equity as if they’re magic solutions. Figures like Mamani have managed to romanticize socialism, painting it as compassionate and fair when history clearly shows otherwise. The irony is they enjoy the very privileges, comfort, opportunity, and freedom of speech that only a capitalist democracy can provide. Yet, they’re eager to dismantle the very system that makes those privileges possible. But again, something like the free market is kind of synonymous with America. And if you don’t like it, I don’t know how you can say you love this country. You know who loves this country? You know who’s not constantly complaining about what happened 200 years ago? If America were truly the horrible place some claim it is, then why are people from all over the world risking everything just to get here? Every single day, families sell their homes, drain their savings, and leave everything behind for a chance at the American dream. People literally pay millions in their local currency just to set foot on US soil. Why? Because despite its flaws, America still represents hope, freedom, opportunity, and a better life. Even the countries that the left constantly praises as more progressive or more humane have citizens lining up at US embassies desperate for visas. That tells you something. If America were as terrible as they claim, people would be leaving, not coming. The truth is simple. People don’t flee to failure. They chase freedom. And America remains the beacon of it in an imperfect world. Ask any of them why they came here. And they will tell you the same thing. Ronda Santis put me on a plane. But they will also tell you that America, for all that’s so shitty about it right now, is still the last best hope. And those people asking for our votes to take it over should remember that. Yeah. Honestly, the Democrat’s constant America bashing strategy isn’t doing them any favors. You can’t win over voters by convincing them their own country is irredeemably awful. If they truly want the people’s trust and their votes, it’s time they start recognizing what’s good about this nation and celebrating it. America isn’t perfect, but it’s still a land of opportunity, freedom, and resilience. The GOP understands that message well. That’s why their make America great again slogan resonates with millions. It taps into pride, not guilt, hope, not shame. Instead of tearing the country down to prove moral superiority, Democrats could learn something from that approach. People want to believe in their country again. They want optimism, not outrage. Until the left realizes that patriotism isn’t a dirty word. They’ll keep losing ground to a party that actually believes America is worth fighting for. And that’s that is what’s so odd about this time that we’re living in. For all the talk about fighting for the soul of America, nobody seems to like it very much. Anyone who wants to lead this nation must first inspire us to love it again. Leadership isn’t about dividing people with ideology. It’s about reminding them of what unites us. The Democrats rolled out their grand build back better plan, promising a stronger, fairer America. But after four years in power, what did we actually see? Endless debates about pronouns, gender identity, and abortion dominating the national conversation. Now, it’s not that those issues don’t matter. They do. But they shouldn’t overshadow the real pressing challenges facing ordinary Americans. The economy was struggling, inflation was high, the border was a mess, and national security felt uncertain. Instead of focusing on the basics, jobs, safety, and stability. The administration got caught up in culture wars. A true leader must be able to look beyond the noise and refocus the nation’s energy on rebuilding what really sustains it: unity, prosperity, and pride in being American. You can get creative with a novel, a TV show, or a movie, but history books, that’s not supposed to be fanfiction. How we teach our kids history has become a big controversy these days with liberals accusing conservatives of wanting to whitewash the past. And sometimes that’s true, sometimes they do. But plenty of liberals also want to abuse history to control the present. And last month, a scholar named Jamesu called hell for calling them out for doing just that. He criticized a phenomenon known as presentism, which means judging everyone in the past by the standards of the present. Not only does the fringe left constantly criticize America’s present, but they’ve also made it their mission to tear down its past. Nothing seems to satisfy them. The present isn’t good enough, and the past is unforgivable. They reject the nation’s history, its founders, and even its symbols as if perfection were ever possible. Every era, every figure, every achievement is dissected until only flaws remain. It’s exhausting and frankly counterproductive. You can’t build a better future by endlessly hating the past that made the present possible. Yes, America has made mistakes. Every country has. But it has also grown, reformed, and led the world in progress. That’s why I always say it’s nearly impossible to please them. The goalpost keeps moving and no amount of change will ever be enough for people who view everything through the lens of outrage rather than appreciation or perspective. And in the end, Mars, right? America isn’t perfect, but it’s still the greatest experiment in freedom the world has ever seen. The left’s constant self-loathing helps no one. Real progress starts with gratitude, not resentment. It’s time to stop apologizing for America and start believing in it again. And this brings us to the end of today’s video.
