[Music] Members of Congress have always fallen under scrutiny, whether deserved or not, and their actions have often been labeled criminal, deplorable, and even treasonous. There are high bars for censure, or especially a criminal prosecution. But one member of Congress, a naturalized citizen, seems to have covered every aspect of possible criminal activity and corruption. not to mention exceedingly poor judgment and an ungrateful attitude toward her adopted nation. Who is Elon Omar? What is her background? What actions could be considered criminal and even treasonous? Hello, I’m Colin Heaton, former history professor, Army Marine Corps veteran, and welcome to this episode of Forgotten History. Ilan Omar was born in Mogadishu, Somalia in 1982. the youngest of seven children. Her mother died when she was very young and she and her siblings were raised by her father and grandfather. When she was a child, civil war broke out in Somalia and her family fled south to Kenya. They spent about 4 years in a refugee camp in Kenya, which is often identified as part of the Dada Bhutanga area. In 1995, her family was granted asylum in the United States. They first lived in New York, then in Arlington, Virginia, and eventually settled in Minneapolis, Minnesota. From her own accounts and interviews, here are the experiences she shared about life in the refugee camp and early resettlement. There were harsh conditions given the lack of food and clean water with disease outbreaks like malaria, respiratory illnesses, dysentery being common. She stated that she was separated from many family members. An aunt named Foss acted as a guardian during the escape from Somalia. That aunt contracted malaria while in the camp and died. There was no medical care available. Elon Omar no doubt witnessed suffering and loss, disease, death, and moments of humanity with people helping each other and mothers giving birth despite terrible odds. After coming to the US, she had to adapt to a new culture, language, schooling. She reported being bullied for her hijab and for being different due to her appearance and religion, but she became a US citizen in 2000 at age 17 or so. Her refugee background has clearly shaped her political views and advocacy on immigration, refugee rights, social safety nets, and equity. She often references her early life in speeches and opeds. It instilled in her an awareness of what displacement and vulnerability feel like, a sense of urgency when policies affect families in conflict zones or immigrants and refugees. But Omar has a long baggage trail in her wake. Accusations have surfaced that she married her brother, who became her second husband, Ahmed Elme, which liberal outlets and support networks have repeatedly denied. They claim that fact checks and reporting have found no credible evidence supporting the charges. However, there is a reported DNA match between Representative Elon Omar and her second husband Ahmed Elme that allegedly proves that the two are siblings. But because of a lack of paperwork in Warren Somalia, positive proof has never been uncovered on paper. Somalia does not even keep birth and death records for the most part. The match says that Omar’s DNA was taken from a cigarette butt, while Elm’s DNA reportedly came from a drinking straw. Although Omar is not known to be a chronic smoker, a grainy photo appears to show her smoking outside of her Washington DC home. The results of the test assert that there is a 99.99998% chance that Omar and her second husband Ahmed Elme are siblings. It does not get any more conclusive. The report drawn up by British company Endeavor DNA Laboratories does not name either Omar or Elme, instead referring to them as sibling one and sibling two. Daily Mail.com understands that Omar is sibling number one. Additional research by Alfa News suggests that Omar was involved with Ahmed Nur say Elmei, her legal husband, and Ahmad Hy, her cultural husband and father of her children at the same time, and they did share the same address. It was concluded that Ilan Omar married her supposed brother, Ahmed Nur Sahed Alme, in 2009. The claim was that she married him to break US immigration law and defraud America. According to the UK Daily Mail, sources quoted Abid Kahim Osman. He was a close friend of Omar’s who confirmed that Omar’s first and third husbands both also confirmed that it was a well-known scam and that the marriage was conducted through a Christian minister even though both Omar and Ahmed are Muslims. According to the source, Omar purportedly admitted she would do what she had to do to help her brother obtain legal status in the country. They divorced in 2017 after their marriage was no longer needed, but they had three children together, which if true is incest. Alpha News has requested comment from both the Elon Omar campaign and her criminal defense attorney Gan Brle asking questions about her family, her father’s legal name and involvement with Jubiland and about her siblings. They did not respond to any requests for comment. Special Agent Joy Hess from the FBI’s Twin Cities Field Office, which investigated allegations that Omar married her brother Elme to get around US immigration laws, says the statute of limitations had run out on the case. Hess also said that the FBI could not pursue the case because Omar’s ex-husband, Elme, had moved overseas. But please remember, there is no statute of limitations on immigration fraud. The statute of limitations is over. She said, “According to the US attorney’s office, the statute of limitations is not something we can overcome in that matter. The individual in question left the country, so there’s nothing to do.” Asked if the new DNA evidence would be considered, she said, quote, “All I can just say is that according to the United States Attorney’s Office, the statute of limitations limits what we can do in this matter.” However, again, I say there is no statute of limitations for immigration fraud, but there also appears to be no appetite in Democrat-run Minneapolis or Minnesota to investigate the claim that has dogged Democrat squad member Omar for years. Under the Biden administration, no investigation at the federal level was allowed to be made public. It is troubling that private citizens felt compelled to do the FBI’s job. Why didn’t the FBI do its own DNA test and clear up the cloud hanging over Omar’s head? But Elon Omar’s experience with her brother and family is just one example. As a result of massive fraud, the Wall Street Journal reported in 2008 that the refugee program in Africa was halted by the United States because thousands of Africans lied about their family ties in order to enter the United States. Perhaps they did, but the Democrat-run FBI under James Ray would not respond to questions on this matter. Omar and her entire family have refused requests from journalists and investigators to address the issue and they will not take another open DNA test. The Omar camp provided a letter from US Attorney Andrew Luger denouncing a Fox 9 investigation that claimed that his office has asked immigration services to look into her marriages. Local and state Democrats were never going to hit that trip wire. So if true, here are the federal laws that were broken. Marriage fraud, 8 US code 1325, subsection C. Immigration and Nationality Act, INA fraud, 8 USC 1325, Incest Laws of the United States. Any one of these crimes, let alone all, would allow her to be stripped of her citizenship, sent to prison, and then deported back to Somalia. But Omar has a lot of political cover. Although under the new administration by Donald Trump, she may get a rude awakening. Elon Omar ran for Congress after serving in the Minnesota House of Representatives from 2017 to 2019, representing part of Minneapolis. Her fifth congressional district includes all of Minneapolis and some of its outlying suburbs. She was elected by the majority Somali population, many that President Barack Obama just dropped into Michigan in a mass immigration dump. This was an election mired in controversy as many of those who wouldn’t have voted for her were not citizens. There were also suspicions of voter fraud, ballot harvesting, and illegal voting by immigrants. The incoming Biden administration halted any investigation by the FEC or FBI run by James Ray. Her entire campaign fell under scrutiny again by the Minnesota campaign finance board, who ruled that as a state legislator, Omar’s committee misspent around $3,469 and filed a payment incorrectly. She was ordered to repay the money and pay a $500 civil penalty. That’s an administrative civil finding, but not a real crime, and it is an understandable error. But then there was the investigation on a retroactive tax filing issue for 2014 and 2015 when the same state inquiry revealed she’d filed joint returns with a domestic partner before they were legally married and the Democrat state officials directed corrections to the filing. But again, despite being a crime, no criminal case was brought forward. Contrast that to the allegations against Donald Trump and other conservatives that have since been proven false but resulted in criminal charges. Another issue was the payments to her current husband’s consulting firm. Essentially money laundering from the pack during her campaign and individual donors back into her own personal accounts. Then in September 2020, Project Veritas’s James O’Keefe, a man whom I met, released videos alleging that Elon Omar’s campaign was tied to a cash for ballots or ballot harvesting scheme. The undercover videos show a local Somali activist named Omar Jamal and others purportedly collecting absentee ballots in the Somali community during the Minneapolis primary and some people in the community saying they were paid or offered something in connection with collecting ballots. The Federal Election Commission under Biden unanimously closed the complaint, saying there was no reason to believe laws were broken, so no charges, despite clear evidence to the contrary. For his efforts, James O’Keeffe was raided by the FBI and arrested allegedly over the missing Ashley Biden diary, but the case was dismissed. The liberal fact checkers such as Snopes, USA Today, and others concluded the videos do not provide proof that Elon Omar’s campaign committed illegal activity. Apparently, they are calling over a dozen people liars who did not know they were being independently recorded. One man featured named Liban Osman said he was offered $10,000 by admitted activist Omar Jamal to say he was collecting ballots for Elon Omar. Osman, after realizing that he was caught on video, later told Fox 9 in Minneapolis that this was just a setup. There have been no credible legal findings to date that Elon Omar was personally involved in election fraud. But then again, it was a Democrat state and federal government who would have been the investigative bodies. Sort of like the Gestapo investigating the SS for Holocaust crimes. So no court has yet convicted her or her campaign of wrongdoing related to those claims. But Elon Omar has made public statements that could be construed as treason. At the very least, she should be removed from Congress and at the most shipped out of the country. She supported the domestic terrorist group Antifa, as well as BLM, defund the police, sanctuary cities for undocumented immigrants, also known as criminal illegal aliens, and compared the US and Israel to Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Hezblah, and the Taliban. In a 2021 tweet, she wrote, quote, “We have seen unthinkable atrocities committed by the US, Hamas, Israel, Afghanistan, and the Taliban, implying similar moral culpability.” Omar later backtracked when grilled on that comment that she was calling for accountability and was not making moral equivalencies. But she also displayed her clear support for such terrorist groups when she made the comments about the September 11th, 2001 terror attacks. She supports CARE, the Council on American Islamic Relations, which was founded after 9/11, because she states they recognized that some people did something and that all of us, meaning Muslims in the US, were starting to lose access to our civil liberties. End quote. Which was untrue. Her history of questionable judgment is noteworthy. care was founded after 911 because they recognized that some people did something and that all of us were starting to lose access to our civil liberties. In February 2019, Omar tweeted that politicians who support Israel did so because of money. She said, “It’s all about the Benjamins, baby.” Critics call this an anti-semitic trope, insinuating Jewish influence or money controls politics. Omar later apologized and said she meant to criticize lobbying influence, not use anti-semitic stereotypes. The irony is that she uses lobbyist money all the time. In 2019, Omar and fellow Muslim Congresswoman Rashida Talib, another member of the squad, were barred from entering Israel due to their support for the BDS movement and for listing their destination as Palestine instead of Israel. While on the floor of the house, she said that she is here to look out for her country, meaning Somalia. This prompted accusations that Omar had violated the law and her oath of office, leading some critics to call for her expulsion from Congress. The revocation of her citizenship and even deportation. Under 18 US Code 2381, the federal statute defining treason, the law states, “Whoever owing allegiance to the United States levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere is guilty of treason. The punishment for treason includes death or imprisonment for at least 5 years and a fine in addition to being barred from holding any US office. The three acts of treason as defined by the US Constitution are levying war against the United States, adhering to the enemies of the United States, giving aid and comfort to the enemies of the United States. Omar has done all of these. The principles embodied in the oath are codified in section 337 paragraph A in the immigration and nationality act which provides that all applicants shall take an oath that incorporates the substance of the following. So there you go. Omar and her supporters often say her remarks are being taken out of context, misinterpreted or edited in ways that change what she meant. But she seems pretty clear and consistent in her statements. Due to her inflammatory and anti-American rhetoric, many in Congress, including leaders of her own party, have publicly rebuked her remarks. For example, Nancy Pelosi, when Speaker of the House, criticized the equating democracies and terrorist groups line. But Omar continued on her path of proving herself unworthy of holding high office when she attacked the late Charlie Kirk and his followers after his death trying to rewrite history and distort his message and impact. During a Friday night interview with CNN’s liberal mouthpiece Caitlyn Collins right after the murder, Omar made it crystal clear that she felt no sympathy for Kirk’s widow Erica or their children, calling Kirk himself Dr. Frankenstein and said his monster shot him through the neck. End quote. She also said, “I’m not going to sit here and be judged for not wanting to honor any legacy this man has left behind. That should be in the dust bin of history, and we should hopefully move on and forget the hate that he spewed every single day.” Ironically, Kirk hated no one. She’s making it crystal clear that in her mind, Charlie Kirk deserved to die for his conservative beliefs. Does that mean she should die for her radical Islamic support? GOP rep. Nancy Mace of South Carolina introduced censor resolution against Ilan Omar over her Charlie Kirk comments. During the House vote, four rhinos joined with Democrats to prevent the progressive anti-American congresswoman from being stripped of her committee assignments. I can only assume that these Republicans will be primar. In February 2025, Minnesota State Representative Steve Juskcowski delivered bombshell accusations against Omar, labeling her a serial career criminal while calling for United States Representative Angie Craig, Democrat from Minnesota, to open a congressional ethics investigation. Juskcowski said, “I’m also asking Congresswoman Craig to initiate an ethics investigation into Congresswoman Omar because of questions about federal tax fraud, federal immigration fraud, federal student loan fraud, and state violations of perjury, bigamy, and kickbacks. Title 18 mail fraud, wire fraud, and other violations are possibly pending. These charges may get federal traction now that the DOJ is not in liberal hands.” Omar is a prime example of our failed liberal immigration policies. Not everyone deserves to be here, and she and others such as the squad represent everything wrong with the modern Democrat party, the anti-semitism, the anti-American hatred, and now the open celebration of political assassination. Perhaps clear and freethinking Democrats will abandon the party of hate, which they always falsely accuse others of being. Thank you for watching this episode of Forgotten History.
